I find the bible code information facinating, but not sure how many have actualy studied this or have factual basis on it. Thanks for any opinions.

Excellent question. Question everything you hear and see unless it is in the Bible. I agree with gratvol. When you change from the original biblical text in Greek, etc. to English the "bible code" would be completely different. Have you noticed how there are more and more "interpretations" of the Bible lately? Example: "Did Jesus have a child?" No, he did not! Read the Bible word for word and let the Holy Spirit interpret it for you. That is what God intended for us to do. Keep asking questions. God bless.

From what I have seen of Bible codes I can conclude that while they sometimes might be fascinating they are completely irrelevant.

either
1 messages, particularly about the future, are in the bible, but since we dont know what to ask we will not "see" it until after the event.

2 They are creative tricks that work sometimes but fail in so many others.

They only show you the tests that work, not the ones that did not.

Personally I tend to gravitate to #2, because the Masoretic text of what the bible code is based on has been changed so much since it was written down that their is no way that any message could still be intact.

i think of the Bible could desire to be examine for what it definitely potential. weren't Bible codes used to foretell the 2d Coming as quickly as, and it did not come on the oppointed date? this is by using the fact the Bible says that Jesus could come at an unpredicted time, so no one would be attentive to while He comes. i think of that when the Bible predictes the destiny, it only says that such and this type of element will take place (in spite of the undeniable fact that it may desire to apply imagery like "the beast" in Revelation for occasion), there is not any could desire to seek for codes.

Any text of sufficient length can be used for that purpose. You could use the text of the Satanic Verses to make predictions about the career of Daisuke Matsuzaka just as easily.

" When my critics find a message about the assassination of a prime minister encrypted in Moby Dick, I'll believe them." - Michael Drosnin, author of "the bible code"

And here they are:

So: either the author of the book is a liar, or even he does not believe in it any more.

God intended the bible to be plain and simple to those who have His Son Jesus in their hearts, to all others it is mass confusion.
