A perm at that age! I'm surprised that kids hair didn't just burn off the second it was on it...why perm your kids hair....thats horrible you will give her a complex.

If this question is not a joke, go to the emergency room. You have some serious insecurities if you are changing your baby like that.

I would just like to say i really dont know why the 2 yr old got a perm because kids hair change from the time their little to the time they get older, and by her having a perm in her hair at such a young age it probably damaged how her hair is going to grow from now on, but luckily a perm does grow out, it only stays in for about two weeks and after her perm grows out.. make sure she doesnt get anymore perms and just let her hair grow out naturally.. the only advice i have for making sure her hair grows back good is to call the beauty salon tell them your problem and they should be able to help u with that situation.

why on earth would you give a 2 yr old baby a perm? you have some serious insecurity problems and by you giving your daughter a perm you are telling her that she is not good enough and she will always have to look a certain way to get ahead in life.I mean, imagine what was going through her head as her hair was being fried. probably "mommy doesn't think im pretty so from now on i have to do ridiculous things to my hair and body to get her approval.''I know you wouldn't want your baby girl to think that would you? you are putting a bad idea of herself inside her head and it needs to stop. Don't you know you could get into some serious trouble for things like this? Take her to the doctor and hope you didn't do any long term damage is the only thing you can do one this one. I hope everything turns out okay with her.

it sounds like you dont really know the process of a perm. did you take her somewhere, or did you do it yourself or have a friend do it?? A perm has so many chemicals that i cant believe you would do that to your child! no 2 year old anywhere needs a perm! you now need to wait for her hair to grow out. i cant stress to you enough that that is much too dangerous and stupid to do to your poor daughter.

what the heck is wrong with you? among the many many other things wrong with giving your 2 year old a perm why on earth would you do something like that that would force her to sit still for a long time and can be very uncomfortable to sensitive skin. And where on earth did you find someone who would actually give such a young child a perm?

yes a perm will grow out. You cannot make hair grow any faster. If you want to relax the curls, use a conditioning moisture pack for 5-10 minutes and comb this through with a wide tooth comb. you might consider using the soft sponge rollers to even out areas that need some help. this might be a good time for a trim and a cute new look. I am a cosmetologist and have 3 daughters, all who had perms at the age of two. of course you protect their skin and eyes. It will not harm the child's hair unless the person did not have a clue, My children are all grown and their hair is fine. Calm down people

You should never use hair treatments on a child; certainly not one this young. Hair treatments, especially perms, have strong chemicals that could do long term damage to the hair and scalp. If the hair is falling out , it means the roots have been burnt. I suggest you take her to a dermatologist.

What person, in their right mind ... would give a two year old child a perm?!

I'd advise you to take the little one to the doctor ... you never know what kind of effect a perm has on a child. :(

OMG YOU SHOULD NEVER DYE COLOUR OR PERM A CHILDS HAIR WHILST THEY ARE STILL GROWING. The only thing to do now is cut it to a very short hairstyle to premote new hair growth and hope to god that it hasn't burned the scalp permanently, put a treatment cream in hair once a week AND NEVER DO THIS AGAIN.
