Muscle weighs more. And the more your muscle is toned the more fat and calories your body uses or burns off doing nothing to keep the muscle taught. Fat shows more in general but muscle weighs more by mass.

Muscle is more dense than fat therefore when comparing the two, the same weight of muscle takes up less space then fat. Also, for every extra pound of muscle, your body exerts another 50 cals.

1 kilo of fat weighs exactly the same as 1 kilo of muscle. The difference is that muscle is much more dense than fat so that if you had a cubic metre of fat and a cubic metre of muscle the muscle would weight much more.

Muscle weighs more than fat. Fat is like cotton, and muscle is like rock. So which one weighs more? Muscle does. But smaller size than cotton. So that's why you see a muscular guy weighing 200 lbs, but he only looks like he weighs 120 lbs.

A pound of fat has more volume than a pound of lean muscle mass. That's why you can lose inches when you work out even though you don't lose weight.
