A two lbs a week weight loss is a very healthy, realistic goal. It I were you, I'd avoid any drastic diet or exercise programs. As you already know, they don't work in the long run, because you can never keep them up. Starving isn't a diet anyone can stick to, and those high-powered exercise programs often leave you so sore, or are so difficult you can't stick with them either. 'Diets' and things like SlimFast do nothing to teach you healthy eating habits. You just lose weight, then go back to eating the way you did when you gained weight.
What you need to do is find a healthy diet and excercise program that you can make a lifetime habit. A brisk 2 mile walk EVERYDAY is more than enough exercise to hit that 2 lbs a week goal, if you're also eating right.

Have you looked on eBay? There are lots of dressmakers that will make a dress customized for your measurements in a popular style. I recommend seller Cinderella-Shop because that's who I got my dress made from and I was very satisfied with the results. The price is also a lot cheaper than what you'd find at David's Bridal, too. My dress was less than $300 (and that's including shipping from China). They quote 30 days from the time they get your measurements to completion, but you can request a rush (14 days). when you starve yourself or undereat you lose water weight and muscle which you gain back as soon as start eating normal since metabolism slows down while undereating.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

WEIGHT WATCHERS IS EXCELLENT!!! I lost 37 pounds on Weight Watchers. I purchased a size 16 wedding dress and lost so much weight that it was sized down to a 12. You can do this... I lose at least 3 pounds a week on Weight Watchers. They also have meetings to where you have your support. Good Luck!! Regardless have a wonderful wedding day. He loves you because you are you. He fell in love with you at the weight you are now so don't feel you need to lose weight.

If you switch regular foods to organic foods, it won't be too difficult. Most organic foods are found in health food stores. You can lose weight easily by eating only organic foods.

you don't need to lose anything but if you only wanna lose two lbs that's pretty easy start eating just salad and drink lots of water you should be good to go.

slimfast and stay AWAY from carbs! but u MUST make time for some excersize even if its 3 thirty-min walks a week. seriously, stay away from bread, pasta, rice, cereal............it works i lost 20 pounds and have kept it off!
