having to take it all from your D.I.'s and not being able to give any back..but its all a head game, and as long as you see it as such, it's not that hard to get through it. the other part is the physical side and as long as you prepare yourself for that, it's not as bad either. the air force has the shortest BCT (6 weeks) at Lackland AFB in San Antonio and the T.I. (as their called in the air force) aren't hard-asses the whole 6 weeks, so if its something you REALLY want to do, it isn't as bad as you'd think

Basic training is an advemture. You've never done anything like it before, and will never do anything like it agin.
For the tough guy,. thewiseass, the hardest thing to do is what others tell you to do, immediately, without second thought and to the best of your ability and keep your mouth shut. They will find out, the hardway, what happens if you don't.
Anybody with any brains will prefer Not to find out what happens and will do as they are told, and they'll be fine.
The exercises, )pushups, running) will be hard at first, but as time goes by, you'll be feeling better and better.
Here's what I usually tell someone.
You'll learn a new game, called hurry up and wait.
You'll learn the meaning of, "There's 3 ways of doing something, the right way, the wrong way, the Air Force way. "
You'll learn the two sizes of clothing,"you"ll gain weight" and "you'll lose weight,"
Like astronomy?. You'll love getting up to see the sun come up.
New adventues in dining. SOS at 600 AM. Yum!!-
Your background doesn't mean a thing, your father can be a doctor, or you won't know who he is, you can be from a wealthy section of the city or the worst ghettos-makes no difference, . You'll learn to work tgether and help support each other. If you do, you have it made. Be a loner and you're screwed.
Pack up your sense of humor and leave your attitude at home and you'll do fine.
And on the last day when you dress up for the graduation parade, you'l know you just joined a very , very exclusive club.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA enlisted basic training is a breese. Are you a fat slob? If not you will make it through easily. Do Air Force ROTC Field Training or OTS. Now THAT is HARD
Basic training is just physically draining. It is supposed to push you past 100% You are suppossed to see that even when your body says you have nothing more to give, there is always something left.

If you're feeling scared now, wait until the C.O.(Commanding Officer)starts kicking your *** around the training fields all day long, especially during your first week in-hence the name-"Hell Week!"By that point,if you survive that, you can survive most anything else thrown up in your face, because by that point and time, you'll know what to look for,and how to survive in the fields,or when called to active duties in case all Hell really breaks loose overseas.

Basic training.
If you don't like to run, that will be the hardest.
If you don't like to get yelled at without yelling back then that will be hard for you.
If you don't like to study a lot for big test, then do not join because they will test you a lot and you have to pass.
Some people find it hard to be away from their family's for long periods of time.
So in the end you will be the one to decide what is the hardest part of basic training.

the hardest part of boot camp for me was just learning to take orders. you HAVE to do exactly what they say. air force is the easiest, i hear, but that's rumor. i was navy. you run a lot, that was tough. you run every dam where, even to sick call, sometimes we had to run double time, i never understood that. dam, i'm already running, how can i do it double? anyway good luck, friend, join up. we should all do our part.
