Howcome there is so much division between the three main abrahamic faiths (islam, christianity, and Judaism). You would think, being so similiar, all worshiping Yahweh and 2 of them acknowledging jesus, you would be closer together.

I'm not any of them, but just wondering.
The Baha'i Faith is my favorite of all Abrahamic religions by the way.

Im a Baha'i and there arent so many divisions BUT the people make divisions and create barriers . All the religions are in essence the same.Just some rules are added or removed for that particular time.

Christianity and Judaism share the same roots. The difference between the two is Christianity found the Messiah in Jesus, and the Jews are still waiting for him.
As to Islam, They believe that Jesus was no more than a prophet and Muhammed came later as the last prophet. (I think.)
These three faiths do not worship the same God at all, even though their roots might be similar. We are too different.

The Bible calls Jesus Christ a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense. That is a true prophecy, because that's where all the differences start.

Jewish - Jesus Christ not sent of God at all, a blasphemer
Christian - Jesus Christ the only begotten son of God and our perfect sacrifice
Muslim - Jesus Christ, a prophet
Baha'i - Jesus Christ a messenger/manifestation of God

I respect all of these followers of the God of Abraham. I'm especially fascinated with some of the fine things Baha'u'llah said. But after all my investigations God seems to confirm the Christian interpretation of Jesus Christ.

From a Christian perspective I have nothing against the Jewish people. They are God's chosen people. They just don't know that Jesus was the Messiah, yet. But that is OK, because it is the Gentiles that need his help. As to the Muslims, I don't think that they are following the same God as the Jews and Christians. They want to kill us because we tell the truth about Jesus.

Because Jehovah only approves of 1 faith not 3 different faiths.
Nor does he approve of all faiths...look at Jehovah's design and history for his facts, not man's.

Abraham knew God, but many of those who came after him did not. Therefore, they did not worship God in spirit and truth. In fact, Jesus Himself said to those Jews who did not believe in Him but who claimed to worship God, "You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent."

Ever notice how family members fight more often than non-family members? Same principle.
