In John 14, Jesus says "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me." During 911 here in NYC, God was my comfort. Have these words been true in your life also?

Several times in my life, I feared about having necessities like housing, a job and money. I would worry a little but eventually think, "God's going to provide exactly what I need." In every instance, I have been provided exactly what I needed.

Whenever I get on a plane and I start to worry that it could crash at any moment, I remember that God knows excatly where I am and what I'm going through at all times and that He will never allow me to go through something that He isn't aware of before it happens, then I remember that if I were to crash I would get to leave this crummy earth and be with Him for eternity. This ALWAYS keeps me calm and gives me a peace. I praise God for this assurance (and whenever I land too!)

I know from experience that all things work together for good, to those who love God and who are called according to His purposes. This scripture brings me comfort when things don't go the way I expect them.

I use to fear death, but now I look forward to it, so that I can go to Heaven.
