I think that there might be something more to it. I am an extremely jealous person and even though I tell myself that I wont freak out when my boyfriend goes out with friend, I still do. I blame him for cheating on me for absolutly no reason. I also get mood swings and my friends sometimes say "typical her, being happy one minute and then mad for no reason." I also sometimes get paranoid that someone is going to harm me or that someone is watching me even if I'm alone in my room. What are your thoughts?

Given your age, many teenage girls deal with intense feelings, it's part of the maturity and thought process issues, and the wacky hormones too.

The symptoms you describe would come from anxiety and be intensified by the depression.

Finding the medication(s) that will work on your particular symptoms may take a while to figure out. Do be willing to try what your Dr. suggests. Continuing your therapy/counseling will help you to learn the differences between what's real and what is overly intensified for you.

I think all of those things could be explained by either clinical depression or general anxiety disorder. The jealousy is probably because of insecurities on your part, which sometimes goes along with clinical depression. Paranoia could be a symptom of gad. Once I had anxiety so bad, I thought somethin g horrible was going to happen any second. There was nothing to base that feeling on. Because of other things going on in my life which I was very unhappy about, it manifested itself as fear. I hope you feel better. Don't worry about different feelings so much and do whatever the dr prescribed. After a bit, if you don't feel better, tell her/him and if you keep trying, you can improve. Just don't give up. Good luck!

Everyone is severely insecure at that age. Some hide it better that others. But trust me, people are paying much more attention to themselves than to you. So be goofy and have fun. Doing that will lighten up everyone Else's fears. As you get older, you will still feel insecure, but if you keep fighting your fear and going out of your way to accomplish what you want in life, the fear will diminish.

Your holding on too tight to your boyfriend. All people will fail and let you down in some way, so don't put your faith in people. Theres plenty of fish in the sea. By loosening your grip on him, he may just try to hold you tighter.

Fear and anger go hand in hand. You may be happy for a while, but then you think something fearful and get mad for no reason like you said. Its like when a mother loses her kid in the mall. first shes scared and when she finds him, she's pist off. So when you think a fearful thought, tell it too shut the **** up in your mind and keep doing your thing..............

but what do i know.... haha good luck
