Maybe from losing blood during the surgery. Now you are more sensitive to low sugar until your hemoglobin (red blood cells) catches back up. When I came home from my last c-section my count was half what is normal, the doctor put me on iron pills said it would take me about a month to get normal again.

I dont know if feeling dizzy and a weak immune system are related, but maybe you arent eating enough in the day to make up of what you are burning off. Try eating a little more throughout the day...it is also possible that you are lacking some nutrients due to being a vegetarian so maybe you way wanna consider getting a blood test done to see if you have enough iron etc...My parents are veggies (no meat, no eggs, no fish) and my father suffers from blood anemia which is a problem with production of red blood cells as well as other issues.
Here are some symptoms:
* abnormal paleness or lack of color of the skin
* increased heart rate (tachycardia)
* breathlessness, or difficulty catching a breath (dyspnea)
* lack of energy, or tiring easily (fatigue)
* dizziness, or vertigo, especially when standing
* headache
* irritability
* irregular menstruation cycles
* absent or delayed menstruation (amenorrhea)
* sore or swollen tongue (glossitis)
* jaundice, or yellowing of skin, eyes, and mouth
* enlarged spleen or liver (splenomegaly, hepatomegaly)
* impaired wound and tissue healing
Check out this website about it. Maybe if you feel that it could be something you wanna check into then contact your doctor.

It is because of blood sugar. Do you eat as frequently as you did before surgery? Could you have diabetes?
This would indicate hypoglycemia. Unless it does not happen to frequently, then it is normal to a certain degree. Just watch what you eat, how often, etc. Keep track and see if you can see a pattern.

I think it is blood sugar levels. I keep Granola bars at home or work in case I get hungry / light-headed. That holds me over til meal time, and takes the dizziness away.

Sounds like low blood sugar. Try eating a high protein snack mid morning, mid afternoon and before bed every day.

classic symptoms of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). you need to eat meals with some protein and complex carbs to "prevent" this from occurring. eat every 3-4 hours to keep insulin levels stable throughout the day

my daughter has the same problem, it's most likely that your blood sugar is getting to low, try to eat at regular intervals such as every three or four hours and smaller portions to keep your sugar level. protein snacks are goods, but it would be wise to see your doctor and maybe even a nutritionist.

You may not be getting enough protein or other nutrients. Supplements could help, and you also could ease up on your vegetarian diet and include some fish or poultry.
I would see a doctor. It is also possible you could be a borderline diabetic.
