I always love these American responses. I'm not anti-American, nor am I generalizing, but I always love it when they label Calgary fans just "Canadian". It's like they think ALL of Canada is exactly the same, so if fans in Calgary are one way, then all Canadian fans must be the same lol. I always thought Detroit was a Canadian city no? Southern Ontario.. I guess not.... anyways.
Detroit fans always talk smack, but they can never actually back it up. Like when they blame officiating... even though we had the same amount of penalities in game 4, and Calgary has actually had more penalties in the series overall. It can't be the fact that their special teams is horrible and can't convert can it? I guess not. lol they said the same things in 2004 too... you can't take them seriously. I know it must suck having the most talented team in the league choke in the playoffs all the time though, so in a way I can't really blame them for their frustration.
It is a new series. I think if Calgary loses on the road the whole time... obviously Detroit will win it. The next game is just as important ast he last 2. If Calgary can keep the momentum and steal a win in Detroit, then it will be Calgary in 6. If Detroit wins the next one, it's Detroit in 7. Reguardless of who you are cheering for.. you have to admit it's a good series. Lots of conversions, very unpredictable.

no regrets. although Calgary should have a regret. i believe it was the year 2004 when they were outplayed and hoped that bad officiating would land them the Stanley Cup.
just like after game 3....the Lames won by 1 goal. that's not dominating a team. you know....like Detroit did to the Lames in games 1 & 2. big surprise. Calgary plays well at home. wow. so does Detroit. Calgary sucks on the road. big surprise. you Lames fans try to make something out of nothing. the Lames have still been outshot and outscored and outplayed. they pulled out a win last night, but barely.
frankly, i think you Lames fans are pleasantly surprised to find your team tied 2-2 in the series and you want recognition because you know it won't last long and you'll be out of the playoffs soon. you want to sidle up to the bar w/ the big boys. not a chance. wings will win next 2.
if it wasn't for kipprusoff you wouldn't even be in the playoffs, let alone the series.

Heck no, I talk alot of trash, because i like it. I dont think the Wings deserve to win the way they played. They played physical at home, then went back to wanting to just skate around, avoiding the corners. Its was pretty sickening to watch, but lets see if the Flames leave home, and meltdown again. Should be interesting.

All year it has been hard for any team to win in Calgary. It is the same in playoffs but if this series is going to come down to home wins the Flames are doomed to begin with.

^^ Clean hockey can not exist when you have Bertuzzi on your team...end of story...no comebacks allowed.
Box score reported 6 penalties for Calgary and 6 for Detroit...seems pretty even to me but I didn't watch the game.
I honestly don't care who wins...I just want to see the winner of this series need 7 games to do so...come out tired and beat it out with the other western teams.

It's not over yet.
Last time I checked you had to win 4 games.
Right now it's two a piece.
It's not over yet.
