first one is serious.. 2nd isnt.
1st: would anyone be willing to compromise on abortion.. maybe like.. make it legal during the 1st or 2nd month(s) then illegal after that?
2nd: hmm arent babies like living tumors? theyre still connected to the mother by the cord.. which would make them part of the mother.. therefore not actually a "murder"?

1. No, I believe in people taking responsibility for their actions.
2. (even though you are not serious) You can try to justify abortion all you want, it is still murder.
God bless.

Tumors? Parasites maybe, but necessary for the survival of the species. And some people like babies.
The law in most states is that abortion is legal during the first tri-mester and illegal after that. I'd say that's a fairly responsible way to go about it, extreme circumstances excluded, of course. After three months, very rarely can a person say, "Wait...I didn't know I was pregnant! Can I still get an abortion?" Irresponsibility and indecisiveness should not be rewarded. If a person cannot make up her mind within those first three months, she should carry the pregnancy to term and then put the baby up for adoption. But no matter what, abortion should always be safe and legal.

i cannot see the compromise of abortion as a religious or a spiritual issue. To Thine Own Self Be True.
This is a legal issue. We can never make abortion illegal without jeopardizing the health and welfare of women in general. We can hope for compromise and perhaps put limits in place. Any fetus that is born and can live is considered a child. In the first tri-mester, this cannot happen.

As of this week, abortion in the first trimester is legal, and afterwords not...that came out in the US Supreme Court along with the support of good ol' Bush & commrades. There was a new abortion practice, that made post trimesters possible...I found this a little gross at first, but looked a bit deeper & discovered why such a procedure, and it made sense, with what we know medically today...this procedure is now illiegal in the US.
It is unfortunate that most do not understand that, although a growing organism, our Earth vehicles are not embodied by us until the actual birth. Yes, we have our chosen place to be and greatly anticipate that time of entry, in fact we hover with our Mother-to-be from day one...but there will be other opportunities henceforth, and quickly pass our disappointment because we know this in our spirit form, and have great respect for her free-will choice in the matter...this is Unconditional Love.
It would be most advancing to society as a Whole to care for Selfs as much as we seem to care for others...If we judged our own circumstances as we do other's...if we contributed to those already here as much as we don't to those who are not.

no, deffinately not to either question.
1. how can you possibly decide when someone becomes a living being? What makes them human? Once they have fingers? Once the sonogram can tell the gender? When is that defining moment that makes the baby human? It's from conception!
2. Reffering to your first question, you said that after a certain time they're human, so how can they be tumors? Also, after the baby is delivered and the umbilical cord hasn't been cut yet, according to you, they're still a tumor even if they're breathing or crying. Even when they're unborn, they're heart is beating, their brain is functioning, therefore, it's murder.

All human life is sacred from the moment of conception until the moment of natural death. The baby may be connected to the mother, but it is not a body part of the mother, or a tumor. It is another human being.

1. I believe in legal abortions (not used as BC) prior to about the 3rd month.
2. Technically, the baby is a parasite as it lives off the the mother's body and cannot exist without it, just like a tapeworm.
Once born, it becomes a financial parasite, but we love the little bundles all the same.

I am Extremely Grateful for God, to have given us "Free Will"
to believe whatever we want. Even with God.
Look at what has happened with China!!!! It's like 30 Males to 8 Femailes! From Abortion. There are cities there that have NO GIRLS!!!
It's in the news - take a look for yourself. Chinese were incouraged to have Boys and abort Females! Thank God - that 'practice' for the most part has stoped - but, China has the Largest Military In The World. "Gee Three Kings from the East" Revelation!!! - Maybe it has something to do with Armagedon???!!! It's a MESS - for them - A NIGHTMARE!!
Honestly - WHO Was NOT born because of belief/practice of abortion?
I had a baby when I was 13 from a RAPE - she WAS NO TUMOR - She was/is a living, breathing, soul who today gives me joy and peace to have turned out to be a lovely woman!
So, as far as abortion being Murder - A Baby in the womb IS NOT A TUMOR!!!!
Through modern medical technology - 10 years ago - now earlier and earlier babies are being born - And, Living! Normal Lives! My God - I don't know who 'you' are as far as possible 'Christians' who believe in abortion.
As far as 'It's my body'! I've got news for you - Jesus died and suffered FOR ALL! He paid the ultimate Price for our bodies/soul's! We do not have the right to take what God has put there!!!!!!
Be at Peace - Take Care and God Bless!

A mother can have "parts" that are 50% different genetically from herself? A mother can have "parts" with a different blood type than herself? A mother can have "parts" that are a different sex than herself?? I was never a "part" of anyone else. From the moment of my conception I was ME, and no-one had any right to destroy my life then, any more than they have a right to destroy it now.
Would you be willing to compromise on other forms of murder? Maybe allow murder up to age 7, but not afterwards? What difference does the age of the victim make?? Murder is murder.

I agree that abortion should be allowed in the 1st or 2nd month. Any abortion beyond that period should not be allowed unless there are valid reasons e.g. rape victim or the delivery might harm the mother's life.

I think it is illegal during the third trimester unless it's medical.
Second question-I know you were halfa-ss kidding but you do have a point. To all the dummies who think abortion is an alternative birth control plan, are you under the impression that they're cheap?
