If "everything" started from God, then it is logically obvious that God preceded "everything", since a cause must always precede its effect. Therefore there was "nothing" that could have produced God. Therefore it is logically obvious that God was not produced; therefore He did not have a beginning; therefore He existed eternally.

According to all of these Christian's answers, "God" sounds more like a fancy concept for energy, plain and simple.

He's the Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end. It's not something that can be explained. Be still and know He is God.

God always existed. God, by definition of what it means to be God, is eternal. No beginning and no end. He just "is".
