There's a verse that always comforts me. Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Having God there to talk to and just pour out all my worries and problems. I assure you, you'll feel better having God on your side. He'll let you know what the right thing to do is.

What keeps me calm is the knowledge that NOT being calm will not help the situation.
My son once almost choked to death on a piece of chicken. Yes, it was the most frightened I'd ever been in my entire life, but if I hadn't kept my cool, and taken control of the situation, he probably would have died.

Meditating and reading scritures which deal with trust and peace. Also praying in the Holy Spirit through "tongues". If you want to see a big conflict be reduced to nothing quickly learn how to pray in tongues and watch what happens.
