As ex militry personnel......I noticied that EVERY single religion on the planet was accepted on base and had a right to use of facilities for meeting purposes....Welllllll except JW's........If you examine the differences in the messages between the 2, there really is not a difference.....And ppl except the field ministry of the Latter Day Saints, but they are doing the EXACT same thing as JW's! Why do ppl accept LDS before JW? We both try and have you accept a bible study, we both go door to door in the field ministry and among all we both love our father in the heavens! So why then do LDS become accepted before JW's????? I would really appreciate no stupidity this one time.... PLEASE?????? in advance thank you for your answers

Apart from some doctrinal differences, there really is no difference between the techniques of Mormons and Witnesses. If you look at http://www.jwfacts.com/religion/mormon.htm you will see that Mormons share the same conviction as JWs, make the same comments against other religions, and feel they are the most persecuted group on earth. It is also interesting to note that former Mormons and former JWs both have similar feelings against their respective organizations.
Followers of both groups are similarly convinced that only they know truth as both are trained by the same methods commonly used by high control groups. See http://jwfacts.com/index_files/mindcontrol.htm for detailed information on this.
Jehovahs witnesses are by no means the only religion that does not go to war, and many Pacifist groups have been viciously persecuted for their stance against war.

I am not sure why JW was excluded from that particular situation, other than maybe there was no representation for that base...ie: preachers/ or higher officials of the JW church to set up presidence in that base. I use to be an army brat and unless the red tape was worked through by a higher official of a church including LDS, they were not to be on base.
As far as differences, as a LDS we accept that everyone has a choice of how they worshop. There are things that JW believe that I personally do not accept, but I believe that it is also the same that JW think that there are some things they find hard to accept abt LDS.
I hope this helps at least some.

The conflict might desire to be with non secular swords; their Bibles, on account that Jehovah's Witnesses does no longer assume some thing from the e book of Mormon. The Mormons are conscious of apply bits and parts in the context of the e book of Mormon, even although Jehovah's Witnesses seem on the context around the bits and parts of the Bible, and be conscious what it fairly mindset. The Mormon teachings crumble.

military base?
perhaps it has something to do with the fact that JWs dont support war or military organizations of any kind. they hold firm to the Bible teaching that, while the authorities for law and order have been put in place by YHWH/Jehovah, the self-rule kingdoms/governments of mankind are manipulated by satan and will all be brought to ruin by YHWH/Jehovah when He installs His Kingdom with His Son Yhshua/Jesus as the designated King for 1,000 years. So they adhere to Christ's teachings of peace, love and unity opposing all violence and war.
see the following Scriptures:

That is news, I thought mormons are mostly the one that get the cold shoulders.
I believe in freedom of religion, so the treatment you get is not right.
Contrary to what you think, JW and LDS are not doing the same thing. Maybe we both give much effort on missionary work, but our belief have a lot of differences.

There are many great differences between LDS and JWs as members of both religions will tell you. As far as the military is concerned you need to remember that JWs do not join the military as they believe that it is wrong to do so, but LDS do join the military and that is probably why you noticed the distinction simply because why allow members of a religion on base to use the facilities if none of their members are in the military. Plus, if any military personnel convert to JW, they would not want to remain in the military as it would be against their religion. So allowing civilian JWs on base could be a potential security risk.

The lds are exceptionally well organized in their missionary efforts, and have a look that's, well, uniform. This makes points with the base commander since it's similar in conduct to the military.
While their missionary (lds) effort is not any less 'aggressive', at face value it looks friendlier and non-threatening.
Plus the message varies in the finer details, since most of the lds dogma originates from the Doctrine of Covenants, not the Book of Mormon. There was a time when your dog tags read "Catholic" or "Protestant", so things may change as time goes on.

I can't answer your question but LDS and JW are extremely different! I think everyone should have the right to use the facilities for religious meetings, as long as they are not causing harm to others.

It is feasible that one reason that the JWs are not on a military base is simply the fact that they do not support the military. JWs are pacifists, they do not join the military, they do not fight in wars, they do not vote, they do not support the government in any way (except paying taxes), and they do not believe in saying the Pledge of Alliegance.
I've talked with many JWs over the years, and they are wonderful people, except in the fact that they do not believe the need for a military to defend our country.

I don't believe you are a JW, and if you are not lucky for you. A family member of mine is a Mormon. She doesn't go around like she's holier than thou. She don't put others down example: Every one not in the faith (JW), will not survive Armageddon. JW's think everyone not in their belief are evil people. They don't believe God can heal anyone whenever God chooses. JW's think they have the power over God to give Him a timetable. LOL! They totally disrespect God by mispronouncing His Holy, Majestic Name. They don't believe in taking blood in anyway or any form but yet they eat pork and shellfishes??? They don't believe in sharing with outsiders because they are defiled people but these outsiders will give them money for their magazine and why do you take that peoples money? People wake up in the morning to and PRAY for God's guidance and protection, and I say that is why people turn you away. To cut the chase now and get to the point........HYPOCRITES! "I never knew you HYPOCRITES, get away from me." says Christ the Lord. In all what you say and do, do it in the REVERENCE of our Holy Christ the Saviour.
