they do it b/c they want to let their partner kno that they r hurting w/out actually saying it! its like an outlet; make them feel like you do or worse!

A lot of different reasons. Lack of respect, a need for anger management, revenge, and other reasons are why men and women beat up on each other.

i know this one,it is called a unhealthy relationship, it can be the wrong combo of people,it can be you dont have proper aruging skills and you fall in to a cycle that can never end,or maby you dont belong together.... this is called phyocalogical abuse it can be the worst kind this can lead to phycle abuse people that love each other should make each other feel good emotionally try a relationship class to learn good skills or find a nicer mate trust me ..... it would be a good idea dont do it back and confront the behavoier in a nice and calm way and never do it back if it dosent stop save your self i know i was their i lived it so their you go and its not everybody!!!

I think it all stems from a basic lack of respect....when you feel like your partner doesn't appreciate you or they do mean & hurtful things, sometimes we use words to 'get back at them'.

Everyone has a bad day and says things they shouldn't but you need to NOT take out your anger from work, life, etc. on your partner ~ and if you screw up, appologize......those 3 little words go a long, long way.

Because they are so different and each thinks they are right.
They are each afraid - proud - insecure - and so, they fight to try to prove something - if only to themselves.

really, it's just immaturity.

when people learn about what love really is (caring for, caring about, etc) then they lose the desire to harm those they love.

because we always do this to the most vulnerable people in our lives...these people are the least to hit us back...you always hurt the one you love..they are the most vulnerable...
