perfectly normal to question G-d

in fact, anyone that has never questioned G-d is to be avoided because they are dangerous...it is very dangerous NOT to use your mind, not to question the things around you, to only do and believe what others tell you

to never question is to be a slave to others thoughts

G-d doesn't want that...

G-d is fine with questioning

look at Jacob!

he went from being Jacob to being Yisraʾel = "Struggled with God"

The question about wether god is real can only be answered by you if you believe in god then god will exist for you however if you decide that god is not real that doesnt mean that you can do whatever you want. people who believe in god believe that those who dont are umoral and crimal that is not the case all the atheist that I have ever met have more morals and are more truthful and honorable than 90+% of the people you will find going to a church ever sunday. the choice is yours only you can make the choice do as much research on religon as possible so that you have all the knowledge available to make an intelligent choice.

Is God real? That is the big question. If God is not real then you can play by whatever rules you like. But if God is real then it is a whole new ballgame. It is interesting to note that the vast majority of people do believe that there is a God. George Barna, who makes a living by asking people questions like this, found that three out of four adults think that there is a God. Ask four friends and check it out for yourself. Of course the reality of God cannot be settled by majority vote.

How can we know if God is real? Wouldn't it be nice if we could pick up the telephone and give him a call? Or drive by his house just to see if his car was in the driveway? Fortunately, there are better ways to address this question. Consider this perspective: since God is infinite and we are finite, if God wanted to make himself known he would have to make his presence clear. So, are there any signs that point to the reality of God? Winfried Corduan put it this way, "...we can look at the world and see if the world is constructed in such a way that it is reasonable to believe that there must be a God." Just as the hunter follows the trail of an animal that he has yet to see--paw prints, clumps of fur, broken branches--we are looking for the fingerprint of God in the physical world.

Im sure it is very normal. Think of the most evil person that you've ever heard of.(rapists, murderers, satanics) Thats is what the world would be full of without God. Infact this world could not be here without God. He has fufilled many prophecies but there are still more to come like the rapture so I sugest you start reading the bible to find out more.

When so many things happen around us its likely that at times we might really wonder if he exists why he does not act and so. this happens, and it happens because we expect God to act in a particular way in which we think. which means we have our own concepts of God. When they don't work out we wonder whether God exists, I guess it happens to everyone. What we have to understand is that God does not work the way we think. He ways are unsearchable and he is not accountable to any man. As for me the Bible is my standard for what God is and whatever happens around me I can get an answer from it. So as long as I look to the Bible for answers I do believe and don't doubt the existence of God, the God of the Bible.

That is a normal thing. The decision factor on if it is healthy or not is how you handle it. As long as while you're questioning you do your research, ask questions, pray hard, and try to find Him, chances are you'll find your answer and grow stronger. I have had many instances in my walk with Christ that I have questions, but my faith in Him has been reaffirmed over and over because I sought Him out...and He was there. So, if you're questioning and you don't do anything to try and find the answers, chances are it'll end up being destructive.

This is how it was explained to me...God is Everything or God is nothing. We all want "TANGIBLE EVIDENCE"
(something we can touch,or see...) So is this normal, yes!
Religion and Spirituality is two different things, although they tend to mingle at times....
Religion is for people who are afraid of going to hell... Spirituality is for people who have already been there. Whatever road you take to God, as long as you continue searching out this Divine Power, you cant go wrong!!!
Faith is the answer

Yes, it's normal to question ones faith...I think a lot of stuff throughout history was attributed to God and thereby confusing our idea of Him...If you believe Him to be the father of all, and learn from the lessons of life He presents...You'll begin to understand Him for what He truely is.

Like you I ask the same question. We grow up being told there is a Santa Clause, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, and God. After we get older we get told that the Easter Bunny, Santa Clause, Tooth Fairy and what ever, all are just imaginary. So they wonder why we question God. I wished I could answer you for what is real and what is not. If you find out the truth please tell me.

Yes, dear. That's normal, and it's ok. God is in your heart. He cannot be proven in the typical ways that we can prove other things. So the rational mind will doubt sometimes. But the heart knows. And God loves you and will be patient with your doubts, as long as you resolve to do what is good and right.

It's no wonder your confused, but that's a good thing. Many religions say to question these things is a condemnable sin. But the wisest believe our ability to reason is the greatest gift the Creator bestowed upon mankind. Check out Deism.com
