The more fat and muscle the less pain. Your thighs, upper arms etc. I don't really think a tattoo hurts that much anyways. I saw a tattoo on the bottom if this chicks foot recently. I am inclined to think that may have hurt a bit...lol....

I have a tattoo on my left breast. I'll tell you what, it didn't hurt at all. it was just like someone scratching it. the more fat in an area the less it hurts. if you don't mind a boob tattoo then thats where i recommend. the small of my back wasn't too bad either. it hurt, but wasn't excrutiating.

i hve 7 tattoos all over my body and i have to say the spot that didnt hurt as much was my lower back.
so maybe u can get it there.

the butt.......the more the meat, the less the pain...but if you are worried about pain, dont get a tattoo because no matter what its going to hurt

it varies BUT I wouldn't base the location of your tattoo on where it hurts the least...get the tattoo where you want to get the tattoo...it's going to hurt regardless....just get the tattoo where you want.

if you have a little weight on you it will hurt less. anywhere the needle hits bone it will be more painful.

fleshier areas tend to hurt less than those over your bones: butt, outer arm, stomach, etc.
