I don't think any parent should force a child into something they really have no desire to do. I do not know if you are speaking of infant baptism or not; however, infant baptism isn't forcing a child into something. It is the parents taking on the commitment to raise the child in the Christian faith; however, that child later either chooses to follow the faith or to not follow the faith. The choice should always be up to the individual.
If your mother forced you to get baptized, then she really didn't understand the whole idea of individual choice. You may have been baptized, but it doesn't suddenly turn you into a Christian. That profession of faith is up to you. Do know this--from the perspective of your mother--she was acting in what she believed to be your best interest. Don't fault her for doing what she truly believed is the best thing for you. You weren't hurt or abused by the act. The choice to follow the faith is still up to you.

When did you get baptized? Did you believe in Jesus and make a decision to turn away from sin before you were baptized? Did you understand what you were doing? Your mother may have thought you were ready or she might have been afraid for your soul. If you feel you were not prepared for baptism but wish to do so now, read up about it or talk to your pastor about it. Many churches will rebaptize you especially if you were baptized as an infant or young child.

Alot of christians think this is the only way children will get into heaven if they die. I argued with my step mother and father about this when my children were young. I am the only person in a huge family, mom and dads side, whose children aren't baptized. I always said I would leave it up to my children what religion they want. When I told my step mom that God wouldn't keep children out of heaven because their parents didn't baptize them, she said I wouldn't be so sure. I told her that I guess I wouldn't want to love a god like that. Some people want their children baptized because they want to be in heaven with their children, in the same place, one day. Don't be mad at your mom. She loves you, she did what she thought was best for you.

the most likely reason is because she felt she was doing what was best for you. For you to be a part of the church she is. No one should feel presured to do something like that, It should come from the heart.

Your mother was doing what she felt was right for you. You still have your free agency. So don't worry. It all falls on your head now. Your mother has done her part.
Whether you accept or reject the baptism ,YOU will be the one who has to answer to that decision
