They have already lost their hearing and that is the only way they can still hear anything!

Because they think it sounds good coming from all the speakers they've just paid a fortune to have installed! They do enjoy listening to all the base & sourround sound they had installed. Some do think they are "cool" & do it for attention. Some honestly just enjoy listening to their music loud. ALL are going to end up with hearing problems, that's a given. When they get older they all will be wearing hearing aids & won't be able to hear anything! To each their own!

In the animal world, such as it is, lizards puff up there facial flaps to attract a mate, the male peacock does the same with it's abundance of overly bright feathers. In the world of sea creatures, it is the crab or lobsters who attract their mates by the "size" of their appendage claw with swaying back and forth to show it's size!
Alas, in the human world, it is the young neo-phyte males who must "burst forth" their so-called "manhood" by attracting mates with "showing" off their ride, their style and how "cool they think they are"!! Unfortunately, they are so egotistical that they do not know that they are the ones who look foolish!

Probably the same guys who drive their father's Mercedes or mini-van to the store and pretend they own it, like a seventeen-year-old can afford the insurance and gas. The ones who try to act like suburban thugs who listen to hiphop and wear baggy jeans with their butts and designer Tommy Hilfiger underwear hanging out, having never heard of a belt. Their hos dress like strippers and snarl at everyone, showing off their fake boobs, orange tans and blonde hair extensions.

Ever seen a Peacock? Human males don't have the elaborate tail feathers to draw attention to ourselves, so we use other means.
Stupidly, when we are young, we think that others will be impressed by our displays. Once we've matured a little, we see how puerile they are.

Because they have already damaged their own ears by playing their music so loudly, and now they have to turn the volume up even louder, just to be able to hear it.

Personally, I would never look at what low-life is trying to catch my attention and make me go deaf in the process. It's aim is to please none, and make the woofers company affluent.
Most likely the driver will wear a hearing aid when he reaches college and will need a deaf intrepreter when he reaches his 30s, and at whose expense?
