Well, "die-hard humanists" aren't about to bomb anybody. They wouldn't be willing to kill or die for their cause, since death is much more final to them than it is for fundamentalists.
At their worst, atheists are bigoted arseholes who think you're stupid if you don't think the way they do.
At their worst, religious fundamentalists are bigoted arseholes who'll kill you if you don't think the way they do.

The secular humanists will tell you, like the atheists try to, that theirs is not a religion, which it is. It is civil religion enshrined in both editions of the Humanist Manifesto, a belief system that places man as being without need of God or redemption. Classic mind rot. But, to be fair, if one wants to be an atheist/humanist or whatever, fine- just don't try to force your godless beliefs on my school aged children by using my own taxes to do so. You're asking for trouble.

Being a die hard secular humanist, i don't see many ways we're familiar. i believe people can do whatever they want with their lives, fundamentalists believe they're the only ones who really know what people should do.

I can only speak for myself. I don't know if you'd consider me a diehard. I am an atheist, and I do express my opinion here. You're welcome to read my answers on the topic, and decide for yourself.
For me, I rely on logic, and things that I can see and touch and hear. I don't accept something as fact just because one person in authority says it is true, especially if they are using only one resource as the source of their "wisdom" or teaching, especially if it conflicts with my experiences, and contradicts itself.
I don't mind if others have religious beliefs, as long as 1) they don't force them upon others, and 2) they don't try to make public pay for their religious beliefs and practices.

Simple - they rely on reason, science and demonstrable truths rather than faith, mythology, superstition, and the supernatural.
Of course, if by "die-hard" you mean "evangelical" in a colloquial sense, then there is little difference in their approach to "converting" others to their viewpoint.
