The internet. I know it is a little scary, but I found my husband online. I am also very quiet and I was in need of a guy. When you meet online and chat you are able to be yourself and when you feel comfortable then you can meet. The ice is already broken and by the time you meet you feel like you already know the person, so it makes it more comfortable. Good luck!
P.S. if you are nervous about meeting then ask to make it a group date so that you both have friends and you don't have to worry.

A few more details would be helpful. What exactly are you looking 4?? Sex? Friendship? Husband? Boyfriend?
If your very shy,on-line dating or just letting us here on Y/A is a good start. There ain't no magic bullet,hun. Just try to be a little more open and give people a chance to get to know you.

Well, try a library for instance. Most shy people are also very intellectual, so start there or in a bookstore. I know that it sounds like nothing but "nerds" would stay around there, but not everyone who reads is a "nerd". Look for people with your interests and if you find a nice guy, then try talking with him about something that is neutral, like what music he is listening to. Good luck.

Go to a place that is a club that shares a common interest you have. Do you like biking? Join a cycling club. Do you lIke cooking? Join a cooking club. Do you like model railroading? Whatever the interest, join a club or organization that shares your interest. This is a great way to meet people of similar interests.

its really easy to meet guys. every guy is looking for a girl at all times. find one, flirt with one, and u will hook up. a guy can go out and say i want to get a number and possibly get 1 number, a girl on the other hand can get as many as she wants. try myspace, college campus, coffee shop, lake, mall, everywheres really. guys are not as picky as girls when it comes to meeting the opposite sex

what do you need a guy for?? lol dumb reply.. anyway guys are attracted to beautiful women that stand out it public.. one way to get noticed. now if you wanna be able to talk to one. study a couple of common interests of men.. such as ; cars , x box or gaming of some sort, motorcycles, atv's (quads), paintball .. just a bunch of random guy ****... OH and racing thats a good one..

Well, Umm, I really don't know maybe if our comfortable you coul try Match.com or E harmony, I don't know or maybe you should do those speed dating things, you know where ou get to know a person and then you pick them, but yeah, I hope you find the right guy!

You don't need a guy, get on with developing yourself, learn hobbies, read, bike, run, play tennis, fate will bring him to you. Your too young to couple up! Love yourself!
