Cho was no more a Christian than Osama bin Laden, if his actions meant anything at all. Jesus said that people will recognize His disciples by their love. (John 13:35) I don't think killing 32 people is much evidence of love. Even if Cho claimed to be a Christian, his actions proved that he wasn't. The members of his family may be Christians, but just because Cho called himself a Christian in no way mean that he really was.

This from someone who was there -
"Cho was a Christian, whether Christians wanna believe it or not. His video manifesto contains the most glaring clues you'll ever see. Just because YOU think a true Christian wouldn't do such things, Seung Cho thought otherwise, and I GUARANTEE you he believed he was a good Christian. Like so many others, he could only abide the "debauched" for so long. Where most Christians are kind enough to keep their ridiculous judgments about society at large to their churches, where they can preach to the like-minds, Cho probably found no one worth saving and decided to become the Angel of Death. What many Christians dream of doing—turning people over to Christ—Seung Cho actually did.
He was a Christian.
And sometimes Christians do awful, horrible things, believing every step of the way that what they're doing is right.
A sad, sad individual. Poisoned by religion.
Religion. Kills folks dead."

I am not a christian, but I sincerely doubt Cho said he was a Christian. What I had heard over the news is he is furious about the world. A example of a person with severe depression.

I don't know if he was a Christian or not but I do know that if he was and he thought he was following God's will...he wasn't. I think that he was possessed. His thoughts were obviously distorted. I don't think religion is to blame. I think we are to blame. The mother that wasn't there that father that was abusive or whatever his background was. That one person who wouldn't listen when he was calling for help as a child. It doesn't take much to break a persons spirit. Some just are delt a bad hand. Don't get me wrong I am not defending him but I am defending Christ. God is not to blame for what men do. We have free will. I know this is not the answer to your question but, some of the answers I saw were disturbing.

The media said that he left some notes in which he'd mentioned Christianity. Someone has said "it's not how you start the race that matters as much as how you finish it". I don't know about his beliefs in Jesus and the Bible but his final acts were not of Christ. The words on his arm "ismael ax" certainly seem to point to a different direction.

definite. yet to not perfection, notwithstanding as quickly as a individual is reborn that's incredibly feasible. If it weren't, He by no potential might have pronounced to attain this. the difficulty is two-fold. First, the "church homes" now not practice that we are able to, yet that we are going to not (which isn't biblical), so human beings do not attempt. Secondly, that is not approximately perfection as much as physique of ideas. as some distance because of the fact the actaul instructions flow, there are basically 10. Why is it confusing to maintain 10 regulations. what number regulations do you have on your city? Do you shop them or are you a habitual violator? See the version?

It's not our place to judge whether he was a Christian or not. God knows the heart...and He's the ultimate judge so we shouldn't waste our time debating if Cho was or was not.

One thing that i hate the most is. When humans do something horrible, most try to blame the whole religion as if since he/she was Christ ion, or Muslim, or Buddha, or from Mars.
there for he/she has done that.
PEOPLE please.
they are, they have been, they will always be an
a human who does the EVIL ,
blame the human RACE.

i got the impression that the poor sick mentally twisted individual had no clue about anything. i think he was just on a tirade to all those 'rich, perfect.......or christian type people' who did not accept him. i think his reference to dying like christ was just a comparison.
just my thoughts!
