Maybe when you write in your journal, you remember the things that happened that day. I'm assuming you write about the events of that day. When you write about those events, you're probably thinking about them all day, which causes your mind to be thinking and not having fun and being outgoing. I'm no psychiatrist, I'm just guessing. =) By the way, I know I spelled psychiatrist wrong, no one needs to tell me.

It kind of makes sense because when you write in your journal you are writing down your feelings and daily activities instead of talking about them. Also, in your journal you will probably discuss things that you normally wouldn't talk about with other people.

Being an intensive journal writer who's noticed the same thing about myself, i think it has something to do with the fact that you're more likely to seek answers from others when you're not paying as much attention to yourself as one does when one keeps a journal.

It's b/c when you write in your journal you are getting all of your feeling out on paper; you have less of a need to share your thoughts with others.

Maybe it is healthy to write in a journal for one good reason because it allows you to listen longer to others and with more insight. Keep it up!

when you write in a journal or write poetry or anything like that, you become very introspective, you kind of crawl inside of yourself. But when you come out of that shell, you become more outgoing.
