as stargate sg-1 and terry pratchett [small gods] so eloquently demonstrate, a goddess draws her power from the belief of her adherents. so, reveal yourself to y.a.r&s if you so desire, perform awesome miracles and they will be yours until a rival comes along and performs greater miracles. the alternative is forced subjugation, and that is simply too much work. if you are truly the goddess of the internet [i have not witnessed any of your miracles, unless the new delivery system was your work], then acquiring patronage of an internet community should be easy. the only question is whether it would be better to just assign a lesser god and assume a supervisory role.
