I love the Mountain bikes cause i love to ride in the dirt and jump off of things..
I love a Road Bike, cause they are quick and they look AWESOME...
Which one do you like and why??

you are in luck. there is a bike in between called a hybrid. that is my favorite bke cause they are geared higher to go places and a strong frame and bigger tires than a road bike

Hopefully you can afford to own both types of bicycles. Neither bicycle does very well in the other's terrain. A road bike would end up with bent rims and blown tires if taken off road. On the other hand, a mountain bike is built to take abuse and weighs twice as much as a road bike, not exactly quick.

Mountain bike because I like how the wheels fatter and I do also like to ride on things besides the road. I would also choose a MB because I like the looks of them.

Mountain bikes. Sometimes city roads have some nasty potholes - when you warp the rims of your street bike hitting one, you will know why I recommended the mountain bike. Also, you can't take the road bike into the forest.

look for a very lightweight mountain bike, road bikes are just sooo sensitive, unless ur only doing track riding, its not very suited for the city.. at all, plus you get a nicer suspension with mountain bikes

I have a hybrid. Wide tires like a mountain bike but the narrow racing saddle. I love it.

My favorite bike is my road bike because I like to do distances & I like to go FAST!!!
I still ride my hybrid on occasion.

Love the speed on my road bike, love the sharpness of my hardtail and love the handling and control of my full susser. My favourite? The full susser! As light as my hardtail and still bombproof, handles like a dream and soaks up the trail allowing you to really attack singletrack. I couldn't ask for more.
