You Have asked this question before. I know because I have answered it before.
I am a J.W. and I help build Kingdom Halls in the United States and the ALL HAVE WINDOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How ever if you wish to infer that we have something to hide...Then you will want to try to figure why we go out in the preaching work , and with out discrimination invite every one to enter into the kingdom hall. Especially if we had something to hide with your NO WINDOW THEORY...Much like Darwin, your theory is wrong too!

Hi. Please forgive any who answer rudely to this Q, it is asked quite often:D If you look at the previous times this question has been asked you will see basicly the same answers. Some have Windows, some don't. I saw a video recently of a Kingdom Hall, that do to the climate was built with large open spaces, not windows exactly, but large openings for air to flow through. One Kingdom Hall in my hometown, had to go so far as to, not have windows, put bars on the doors, remove the mail slot, and put a cage around the Heat and Air unit because of the BAD neighborhood. A couple years ago we tore down, then rebuilt/expanded a Kingdom Hall down in Macon Georgia. Many of the neighbors came by to see the windows. Not sure why it seems to bother people. It is for the same reason different Wal*Marts are built differently. It depends on finances, area building codes, safety, etc. Please remember there are Thousands of Kingdom Halls. They don't all look the same.
Also someone else asked the religous significance of porticos. There is none. Some Halls have them, others don't. They are simply there to keep people dry when getting out of the car.
Hope this helps:D

Umm the Kingdom Hall I go to has windows, so do the other Kingdom Halls I've been to ...
If you drove by a a KH and seen no windows, then maybe it's got something to do with the city, and having no windows lessens the cost [I think]
If you think that the reason there are no windows is because the Witnesses have something to hide, you are wrong. There is always visitors coming in during meetings, and Witnesses always invite people to come into the KH ... there is nothing to hide !! :)

You might have been driving at 90 miles per hour...???
Thousands of Kingdom Halls have windows. There's a beauty on the Isle of Skye, on a slope looking down to the coast and the island of Scalpay. The KH used to be a dwelling house. The lounge window is massive, with that panoramic view. From the road a little below the KH you can see all of that, and rows of chairs, all with their backs to the view!!! Can't have anyone losing concentration during the public talk, or the 'Watchtower' study, clearly! Mind you, it must be tough on the speaker, or the Wt study leader who actually get to see over the heads of the congregation, out to sea. What will-power they must have to keep talking instead of tailing-off in wonder and delight to praise the Creator!
(I'm just jealous - what I'd give to have a house with a view like that!)

this question is getting real old. many kingdom halls don't have windows because it is cheaper to build without windows. also it depends on the area. people break them. the kingdom hall that I go to has windows. the doors are always open and anyone can come into the kingdom hall and see what we are doing. we are not hiding anything. also we would be looking out the windows instead of listening to the talks that come from Jehovah and Jesus Christ. www.watchtower.org

Generally, a Kingdom Hall is built without windows only in areas which tend toward hate crimes and vandalism against houses of worship. Sadly, it seems that the questioner is from such an area, and perhaps even more sad that such religious intolerance occurs worldwide.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Perhaps these anti-Witness bigots fail to understand that their vandalism and persecution actually work to help prove that Jehovah's Witnesses are true Christians.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

hi, I live in Florida and i volunteer with building kingdom halls. the reason we don't build them with windows in our area is due to expensive costs for hurricane shutters. there are many reasons why they don't build them with windows in other areas, but it's nothing secretive. it's simply a matter of cost.

This is getting old. Why don’t you just look up the answers to previous question, or take the time to go around to different Kingdom Halls and look for yourself. Though they are designed to blend into a neighborhood, they are easy to find and are listed in any phone book. The Kingdom Halls are fully open for anyone to see, if they didn't fear going in and learning something they didn't know before.

And 30 more in the last six months. If you want to know, go there during a meeting and look. Any time there are cars in the lot there should be a meeting going on. Unless you are afraid.

The two in my area don't have windows either. And I live in a very rural area, so don't try and say its cause of crime, as other churches have windows and aren't' afraid of them being broke.
