Why do non-Christians like picking on Christians?

Pray for all of them that's about all you can do. Nothing you can say will change their minds or their hearts. Leave that in God's hands. When people fight the only song I can think of is the "Battle belongs to the Lord". Singing is the best way to beat the blues too. ;-)

It would seem really odd if Christians picked on Christians!

I guess the best way to put it is we would like the Christians to stop interfering with other religions. As a Pagan I get really angry when a Christian can walk safely down the street and a Pagan can't. I live in a very tiny town that is very Christian. I just moved here to be near to friends and the local have really been nice. But I can't tell them that I am a Pagan and a Witch, because that would make me a devil worshipper in their eyes and I could be shunned or burned out.

Non-Christians want equal right to follow our religions with the same safety that Christians have. Right now several large Pagan groups are suing the Veterans Administration to force them to adopt the Pentacle as a symbol of faith for Pagans and Wiccan soldiers so this symbol can be put on these warrior's memorials. The has been a 9 year battle to get this symbol okayed by the VA which used the excuse that they were not adopting any new symbols which was found to be a lie. Atheists, Humanist and Muslim's have their symbol, so what is the problem with ours. It is plain and simple... Christians have always and continue to persecute Pagans and Witches because they have a rock hard notions that we are devil worshippers even though none of us are Christian. You can't use your religion to define ours but yet you do.

So with that stated, who is picking on whom?

How about starting a group of Christians who will welcome any religion based on what it does as opposed to what it is presumed to be. Try getting to know us and stop trying to convert everyone. We are doing fine with the religions that we choose.

There are some non-Christians on here that pick on Christians, but there are also a HECK of a lot of Christians that pick on non-Christians. You should HEAR some of the things that they say!
Nobody should PICK on anybody. Unfortunately, on a forum like this, you get people that do. Just ignore them.

I've seen Christians pick on non-Christians. It goes both ways. I've also seen Christians picking on Jews and Muslims. I've even seen Christians picking on other Christians. I find it all rather ironic.

Dear Faith.

Not all non Christians pick on Christians. Some of use observe rules of conduct, that apply to our daily lives, and we do not go picking on anyone regardless of their religious beliefs.

I have many friends from different beliefs. Picking on any particular belief would be the same as picking on my friends or potential friends.

I've read some horrible things on here a couple of different times that I just couldn't believe was allowed to be said. I had to draw the line that it is God who they are offending and ask Him to forgive them.
I suppose I live in a protected little world of my own because I am not use to vulgar, and pornography being spoken about Jesus. It is horrific.

Theists, especially christians, try to control and restrict us based on their views. If all christians stop crusading against science, culture, art, sex and sexuality, religious freedom and such, and stop telling everybody else they're going to be tortured throughout eternity unless they join you, I assure you that you won't encounter nearly as much hostility.

They are really not picking on Christians because true Christians are catholic, who they are really picking on are the protestant wannabe Christians, and let me tell you as a catholic there really is a vary big difference in what and how we believe.
