Pendejo is Spanish for dumba*s or a*shole.
It is very insulting.
But don't insult the girl back. Just drop her like

Pendejo is a Spanish word that is used her in Panama. It does not have a exact translation but you could say that it means that you are a stupid person. Now If you are not a pendejo just let it ride and try to avoid that or those persons. Just by doing this you are ignoring those pendejas. To be polite is more to your benefit and at the long run you will win. And another advise would be to better your Spanish so that next time you talk to this ladies in spanish they will figure out that you are not a pendejo since you can speak another language. The word "pendejo" doesn't have a literal translation into English, however, most of the time it is used when calling someone "Jack_ss".
Advise. Ignore the girl. She is not worth a penny. But if she does call you again by any name, you should file a harassment complaint. She will have no choice but to refrain herself from ever calling you by any names, or else it would be worse for her.

Don't pay attention to words said in other languages. I wouldn't care if anyone addresses to me with an insult in Chinese.
