yes,and they are very addictive.I've got 27.But some have been redone,so I have actually been tattooed about 37 times. And I love each and every one of them.They all stand for something in my life.

Have one. A Kanji for Dragon on the outside of my left ankle between my heal and ankle bone. It's about an inch by an inch. Black outline, very cute and simple. Plans for a few more later on, plenty of time and preparation in between them.
A question to the first answerer: Are you 18? If so it's your body, dont let anyone control you. If you want one and can get one do it! The choice is up to you if you can do it within means of the law. Please don't manage your life around what your "babe" will or will not let you do. Maybe he isn't the best one for you if he is that controlling. Be strong on your own first. :)

I used to think they looked tacky but it all depends on where you get it and what you get. I got my first at 35. I got a hummingbird on my left breast. This way if I go on job interviews or regret getting one only I will see it. I heard lower back is most painful place. Also that red fades and runs and smears so be careful to choose colors wisely. It hurts but only for a while. take your time choosing exactly what you want as it is permanent. Keep it clean after wards.

I just got my first tattoo. It was painful but totally worth it, and as soon as it heals I'm going in for my second. If you decide to get one, I'd suggest it be meaningful.

for that Kaitlyn lady, If you dont have one then how do you know it hurts. OMG how pathetic is that. You probably judge a book by its cover also lol. But anyway I got 10 tattoos, they hurt in some spots, but they are addictive. They are more irritating then painful.
