I actually have trouble watching as it simply looks clunky .... like a Chrysler K-Car from the 1980's. In contrast, the current car looks so much sleeker..... like a race car should (at least in my mind). I love the fact that the aero effect requires the competitors to be part driver, part pilot.... always being aware of the fact that the car can, at any time, decide to take flight and totally surprise the viewers/fans. It is the invisible force that makes the current cars and the current races (especially the restrictor plate races on super speedways) so incredible. I wonder if the COT will hurt viewership because so many other race fans feel the same way I do.....

I friggin' hate it. Give that wing to the kids who take the exaust off there pappys hand me down Honda Accords and Civics and bring the spoiler back. Look..........these are supposed to to be "Stock cars". You were able to get a Taurus SHO thats was similar to what you saw on the track, or a Monte Carlo SS, or a Charger. I doubt if you can go to the lot and find a Fusion with a split air dam and a 9" wing. Hey Bill Jr. slow it down......our sport has been great for years.....don't fix what ain't broke!!!!!

Tony Stewart does, as he coined the phrase "the flying brick." Actually, I am surprised at how similar they look to the current car. With out the wing, in the stands you can't notice the splitter and they look normal. Because the bodies are shaped for aero, they actually look more like street cars.

I was very much against the COT, but I am not pretty OK with it. I wish they'd put a spoiler on it instead of a wing, but they've won me over.

Sorry I can not agree.
This is a step toward"stockcar".
In the last few years the cars have started to look like a car from the "Rolex Racing Series" and less like a stockcar.

COT is closer to old school racing. The wing and spoiler are from the old models. If you get a chance, check out the show Dale Jr does, "Back in th day " and you can she how they have changed it to make it more like yesterday's cars.

get the 17". which means the wheel diameter is larger, it truly is fairly a lot as a lot as you, wether you want small or large wheels. i for my section like the bigger wheels. I actually have 18" on my GTI MkV, and imagine at circumstances I must have lengthy previous with 19". i ought to assert 17" is the added effectual determination. it might also be a clutter swifter, yet would highten the journey via somewhat. 18" must be about the biggest length on your mini cooper. even as picking the tires... attempt to keep it on a similar width to ward off the body from hitting the tire.

The COT looks to me like a mix of a sports car, and a funny car to me.

I hate the way they look. Yukko. I like the traditional look. But I guess we have to get used to looking at it. It wouldn't be that bad to look at except I hate the wing.
