Every mind is to it's own. We all have free will to think what we want. I am a non-christian and am fine. I would be no better as a christian. True happiness and inner peace has no specific way of getting it. No one can give you a guide of peace and happiness. Especially saying if you believe in Christ and God you will be happy. That works for some but not everyone.

It doesn't annoy me. I was "happy" without God for a long time. Fortunately God who is long suffering and rich in mercy, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentence saved me before it was too late. Hapiness is based upon circumstances. Things that 'happ'en make a person "happy". True joy is knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior because no matter what "happens" you have an eternal reward awaiting you at the end of this life.
Revelation 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
5 And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." 6 And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." ....now that would put an end to anyone's "happiness". :o(

Annoy? No, I actually think it's sad. They don't know what the true meaning of happiness is and they only THINK they don't need him. Even though they've turned their back on him, he hasn't nor will he ever turn his back on any of his children. They think they're taking on the world alone, but in all actuality, God is carrying them through, just like the rest of us.

I think what annoys them is that we don't buy the whole fire and brimstone BS and they can't use it to guilt us into behaving.
Previous posts mention how non-believers are missing out on the divine experience, I beg to differ: Christianity is if anything a barrier between the Divine and Mankind, created by people who didn't think the average person (or serf/slave/low caste person, we're talking circa BC here) deserved to commune directly with the their Divinity (God) so they created the church so that deserving souls (read- well off educated nobles usually younger sons with small inheritance) could lead the rest and speak to God for them. I have felt closer to the Divine (call it God if you must) while appreciating a lovely sunrise than I ever did in all the years I spent sitting on a pew and it saddens ME that Christians feel the need to embody their divinity in a book of legends and myths that has basically been cut an plagiarized from much older religions.

What do you think? I think pity is more like it. I feel sorry for people who refuse to accept God as the only God...you don't have the peace, love, hope and a lot of other things we Christians have. And you're not happy. You THINK you're happy, but deep down, you know something is missing in your life. And you'll look for something to fill that gap your whole life, maybe one day you'll wake up and realize what it is. It's GOD, the only God.

God let us have free will. It is up to every individual to decide for him or herself.
As Christians, the Bible states that your only job is to tell the truth you believe and it is up to the other person to decide for themselves.
So as Christians we are teachers and that is all we can do. Anyone who hears the message must decide for themselves what they believe.
PS. Some people do make the mistake to try and force their beliefs on others. That is a mistake and warned against in the Bible. As the saying goes you can lead a horse to water....

i've got not stumbled on that to be the case with my acquaintances yet possibly this is with the help of the fact they are my acquaintances. anybody else I basically form of enable it flow in a single ear and out the different. There are some wacky human beings available. some are basically ignorant or are not smart adequate to verify the hypocrisy. I do consider the responder that spoke approximately narcissism. i will see that for the duration of my studies with some non secular human beings. How do you spot your self? i don't care what somebody says approximately me so some distance as faith is going. this is their opinion, not mine. Scientists have pronounced that faith can clarify the whys. some human beings discover convenience in that and that's ok. existence is confusing. I merchandise whilst it motels to violence or destruction inclusive of what we see in government and political existence. i've got self belief that there could be a separation of state and faith. that is yet another excuse i'm a liberal. I consider Joe Biden. His ideals are his ideals and he shouldn't stress them on different individuals. How can anybody disagree with that? be taught classes from the Puritans that got here to Massachusetts to flee non secular persecution and that's precisely what they inflicted on human beings who did not consider them. edit: I dodge non secular discussions. i don't care. i think of the Bible has some sturdy issues to assert for residing yet this is so some distance as i will flow. i don't stick to Catholicism in any respect. My father grew up Catholic and could be an atheist now. I incredibly have had some exposure to Catholicism. I incredibly have acquaintances and coworkers that are training Catholics. I labored with somebody that grew to become into excommunicated because of the fact she went to a various Church or some thing. How ridiculous. i don't consider the potential that the Church holds over its human beings. Why? they don't have faith their human beings? I desire coaching and extreme questioning. I desire doing what's sturdy whether you do not could do this. i don't purchase into the reasons in case you are trying this then you definately will flow to Heaven or loopy evil Sarah Palin that seems to apply faith to excuse something she does. (instructors gets their rewards in heaven. this is a cop out.)

No. They have the right to believe what they will. I do feel some pity for them that they don't understand what they could, but they can still be a good person and not believe in the same God as I do.

Not at all. I don't believe you're happy, but have another beer. It is annoying the way you all keep wasting space on a R&S site when you aren't r&s. Perhaps you could move over to gossip and tell them you don't know any. Your very presence here is an example of the utter pointlessness of your term of existence.

Most who convert to Christianity, say later that they thought they were happy, but after joining they found real happiness! They said they didn't even know what they were missing.
No. it just saddens me...cause I know what they're missing.
Have a good day:)
