I was wondering if you would bring this up! You are absolutly right!
It is a double standard, and we should all take note. I don't want this sociopath to be the "poster boy" for my religion any more than you want those suicide bombers to be the "poster boys" of yours.

i understand the double standards & i do agree that alot of people did jump to conclusions, but i think we should just forget about him, his not worth any of our thoughts. if he believed in God & had faith , he would have not commited a mass murder.
I am glad i do not stay in the USA because there is always students committing these mass murders, an incident like this happens every year. I will never live in the USA, I think some of the people there are seriously mentally disturbed. They need to sort thier society out & make it a positive enviroment.
By everyone & the media constantly talking of this sick guy, you are just doing what he wanted, he wanted recognition & now people are giving the idiot that.
Forget him, rather pray for the victims famalies, pray that they have the strength to overcome such a horrible tradgedy.

in 1994 in the month of ramadan moslems in hebron went tothe ibrahimi masjed for salat elfajr
in the same time a jewish doctor passed the israeli soldiers who were at masjed gates and quarters (well known to them ) going to the prayers open fire on them three rounds of machine gun killed 29 pple who were in sujood ,soldiers out side knew nothing of that so they came in with the no idea and they shot some of who attacked the jewish doctor.meanwhile some prayers took some of the wounded to hospitals and some were killed as they were driving fast and did nit stop for soldiers orders(they thought that soldiers knew about the incedence so they drove to safe wounded)
58 were in total killed
well there were prayers in few jewish schools to the soul of the doctor
and then there were a tomp at the p;ace in hebron for this doctor and were visited by jews as a symbol
well they even did not make an effort to say he was made
or sick
or maniac
they made a tomb for him as an israeli symbol

first off, i was not eager to find out if the shooter was muslim, christian, atheist, jewish, unitarian, FSM, or anything-the notion of using this tragedy to yell "AH-HA!" at ANY group seems, to this Christian, disgusting and vile...not to mention direspectful to the victims and their grieving families...it's lower than low...that being said, i haven't read or seen anything that indicates that this sick and evil person was of any identifiable sect or religious belief, unless 'full-goose gonzo' is someone's idea of a religious denomination...there is nothing in his writings, his rambling statements, OR in his actions that resembles anything remotely Christian...i know it's not fashionable to say so, but there IS such a thing as Evil...

I personally always look at the motivations. This guy was not motivated by his religion as far as I can tell. I could give you plenty of Christian examples that were. This kid just ain't it.
My thing is the Muslim terrorists are CLEARLY motivated by their religion. They have bigger rallies than those who say that they are wrong by a factor of probably a hundred. At the very least there is a passive acceptance by the vast majority of Islam that they are Muslim and that their behavior is acceptable.

An insane person is going to be insane no matter what religion he/she belongs to.
I want to add that I have met quite a few Muslims in my area and they are completely nonviolent. Some are downright soft-hearted.

we shouldn't be too defensive of our religion, no matter what it is. :) it's all based on the choices we all make. If we're angry, we tend to have radical thoughts. It's whether u can handle the anger or not. Religion has nothing to do with the killings there..

Muslim?
Lol.
You'd have to be a completely uneducated idiot to think that without substantial evidence.
He's KOREAN!
That pretty much narrows his religious background down to Buddhist or Christian.
