Yep, it is very rare though. Shortly after I started coming to this site, I really freaked on someone. I'm not christian or muslim, but I love what Jesus taught, anyway, this guy kept posting disgusting questions. Really nasty ones about Jesus. I couldn't take it anymore, I don't remember much about what I wrote that day, I do remember asking him if he was upset and nasty because he has a small penis. I was very upset with myself after I calmed down. The next day. So I emailed him and told him what I said was uncalled for and I apologized. I go out of my way to not be rude to people. If I think someone might even feel bad or get offended by something I might say, then I won't say it. I really freaked on this guy though.

The only time I've ever been openly rude to religious folks was the day a group of Stepford Wives from the local Lunatic Fringe church ignored my "No Solicitors" sign and knocked on my door anyway, because they felt they "weren't selling anything." It might have been better for them if they hadn't awakened me at 2:00 in the afternoon (I work night shift). I pretty much let them have it, uncensored.
Beyond that, I pretty much don't care what anyone believes.

I try not to be, but I do have a rather sarcastic wit, and sometimes I am taken badly.
I do get irritated at some of the silly questions I see from atheists like "Why are Christians so stupid" or "Are Christians good fuel for my Bar B Que"
I once asked some gal if she was PMSing, and she got incredibly offended. Sheesh, if she hadn't been flinging insults I wouldn't have wondered.....
If ya dish it, ya need to be ready to take it, don't you think??

Yea
I must have been
I have about 18 violation notices over the last year. I lost my TOP CONTRIBUTOR status, still i'm Level 7 with over 35,000 points.
But all I did was tell Muslims, Atheists, Christians, Catholics and Women about things you find in Encylopedia Britanica.
Maybe EB is a rude book, eh...

Not for the sake of rudeness, no. I have been rude for the sake of making a point, or because I was too lazy to take the time to phrase my thoughts in a polite way.

rude is a function of culture, what seems as rude in the genteel South would be standard in the Bos-nyc-wash metroplex

We've all lost our tempers at one time or another. We are all sinners.
