Victory, sweet victory indeed. The Supreme Court upheld a law passed by Congress and signed into law by President George W. Bush.

Thank God for this great President.

No more crushing the skulls of babies in America. Partial birth abortion is not legal.

Thank you George W Bush!

How do you feel about this wonderful victory?????

You people are sick. Hundreds of thousands of people dying each year due to irresponsibility, and you call that choice. Many criticize Christianity and Christians for their traditional views, and claim that they are a stumbling block for society; I ask, how can a society ever progress peacefully, with mass murder in the shadows? And its not like if baby becomes a a hazard for the mother, she won't be saved. I believe its completely immoral, and if there's anything this president did right, this was it. Anyhoo, this doesn't clear up the mess he made in Iraq, so you shouldn't be proud. He's just killing less lives.

I am a woman.

George Bush is a hero, as are every person involved in this (finally) pro-child decision.

I would think that every mother in America would cheer for this choice to eliminate this barbaric act against fully viable babies. As a mother, I applaud this, and hope that we will soon come to our senses and abolish abortion entirely, except in the rare cases of rape/incest or a GENUINE threat to the life of the mother.

Historians will not look back on us with anything but disgust for ever allowing this.

After reading other responses, I am adding an edit. I am also a military wife. My husband has been deployed FIVE times. He and most servicemembers are proud to serve. And I am proud of him.

Every person in the military VOLUNTEERED. And every one of them knew that joining the military involved war! But not a single aborted person had anything to say in the decision to die.

Glad you are happy. It';s your right as an American to express your feelings as guaranteed by the Constitution first Amendment...the very amendment Bush has been trying to outlaw. read history.

George W. Bush has bahaved in a dictatorial manner. He speaks about fight against terrorism, when he himself is the man who prompts terror and terrorists. The present and the past breed of terrorists is nothing but creation of Bush and his followers.

Freedom of speech is a fundamental right in a democracy and anyone tampering with should be construed as a dictator, like George W. Bush. The Neocon Patriot Act often takes away this rights under the Constitution, but the Constitution is a higher document. Bush thinks anything he believes in the law, that he is The Great Decider, and not the poeple, and not congress. How arrogant, dangerous, and mentally ill.

THis USA was NOT founded by Christian,s but by Diests. Look up that word. They realized the need for separation of Church and State, Yet, 5 practicing Catholics sitting ion the Supreme Court put their religion atop the constitution and that is not only unAmericna, but dangers and threatening all rights.

So, I am happy you have freedom of speech here, but women win dire need of that procedure to save their own lives have no longer that right to do what is necessary to insure they will keep living. That is why Bush is so dangerous. and the Supreme Court is a mockery of Amercian justice.

I do not think of it as a victory at all. I think of it as eating away at thirty years of Supreme Court precedent with Roe v. Wade and all. But other than that it will not prevent any abortions because all that means is that they will dismember the fetus before it is taken out of the womb. I support a nation of laws and I support a woman's right to choose to have an abortion.

Thank you for your question!

Yes, finally something has been allowed to get through the athiest/liberal Christian and family hating media ruled gov.

I am appalled at many of these answers. Anyone who says it is a womans right to kill a full grown baby is a murderer in heart.

no just more people to be roped into organized religion from the security of orphanages and foster care just like the over 200,000 children who are all ready waiting for years from the so called 2million families waiting to adopt. What a Lie. Another distraction by republicans so they can stuff more money into their pockets while you vote soley on abortion.

You must be so proud.

He's the worst president this country has ever seen, or at least in the bottom five.

No sensible person thinks he's doing a decent job.

And that is why religion should not be an issue in politics. It blinds little twits like you to the truth about who you vote for.

I personally find partial birth abortion disgusting and wrong, and yes I am pro-choice.

At the same time I am not going to thank bush for doing something that most nomal people would have done anyways.

If he fixes up Iraq before he leaves office then I will thank him.

i don't believe in abortion either, but i also think president bush is the worst president we ever had.
if you think about it, He has aborted all of these soldiers. These dead soldiers have mothers who didn't abort them, only to have them taken away due to prosident bush's greed. Don't you know that he has his friends big companies down in iraq building and GETTING PAID LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY FROM US.. YES WE ARE FLIPPING THE BILL SO HE AND HIS FRIENDS COULD MAKE MONEY IN IRAQ.

SORRY, I AM NOT TRYING TO BE MEAN, I AM JUST TRYING TO ENLIGHTEN YOU..

How many of that procedure were performed before the ban? Was it one a month? How does it compare to children born with, say, meth addictions or fetal alcohol syndrome? I'm just looking for perspective here.
