I find peace in not being a christian. I do not harm others in God's name. I do not over throw countries and force them to convert to my beliefs... CHRISTIANS...where do you find peace and hope in the violent world you help create?

In knowing that for every insane lunatic, there is a wonderful, decent human being. The world isn't perfect, but it doesn't need to be. There are good people in this world. That's where I find my peace and hope.

From my point of view, the world's pretty screwed. It would not surprise me if humanity managed to turn Earth into a second Venus within the next two hundred years and destroyed everything we ever built.
It'd be nice if we figured it out and corrected ourself, but I just don't see it happening.

In the obvious fact that the violence to which you refer is not as wide-spread as the evening news and your preachers and the government would have you believe.
Look around you. How much violence do you personally encounter on a day to day basis?

Outside, in the ocean or in the sunshine. With animals of all kinds, w/ a good cup of coffee and a good book, under my electric blanket in the cold.

there are religions that are more peaceful than christianity in the world. open your eyes and realize that chrisitanity is NOT the only religion that people follow.

In my faith in Amen through Yezua, and a 25 cal. loaded with a Mosin-Nagant .762 rifle not too far from it. I may not be christian, but my faith teaches me not to be a fool either........
