Jews for Jesus (www.jewsforjesus.org) offers many resources for sharing the good news.

A few books (there are many) about reasons for Jewish people to believe in Jesus are:

"Betrayed!" by Stan Telchin, a true account of a Jewish man whose daughter became a Christian, and how he dealt with it.

"Michael, Michael, Why Do You Hate Me?" by Michael Esses, about a former Orthodox rabbi who became a Christian.

"When Being Jewish Was A Crime" by Rachmiel Frydland, a Jew who survived the Nazi occupation of Poland and found Jesus.

"Witnessing to Jews: Practical Ways to Relate the Love of Jesus" by Moishe and Ceil Rosen. This is a how-to book instead of a personal account like those above.

Another helpful resource is "The Jewish Book of Why" by Alred J. Kolatch. This is a non-Christian book about understanding different aspects of the Jewish religion and culture, which is useful, although not directly related to evangelism.

I don't know of any books directed specifically to Goths. Isn't that just a matter of appearance rather than philosophy? If I'm wrong, I apologize for my ignorance.

There are many books about general evangelism and apologetics, such as:

"Answers to Tough Questions Skeptics Ask About the Christian Faith" by Josh McDowell and Don Stewart.

"That's Just Your Interpretation: Responding to Skeptics Who Challenge Your Faith" by Paul Copan.

"Searching Issues: Tackling Seven Common Objections to the Christian Faith" by Nicky Gumbel. This is the British author who created the "Alpha: introduction to basic Christianity" course that is used in many churches.

"Inside the Mind of Unchurched Harry & Mary: How to Reach Friends and Family Who Avoid God and The Church" by Lee Strobel (who has also written several other books such as "The Case for Christ" and "The Case for Faith").

"How to Give Away Your Faith" by Paul E. Little

"True For You, But Not For Me: Deflating the Slogans That Leave Christians Speechless" by Paul Copan.

I think one of the best evangelistic strategies is simply to be that person's friend regardless of their religious beliefs (if they are willing to be friends with a Christian). As the saying goes, "people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."

Continuing to grow stronger in faith through different means of Christian education, such as reading the Bible and Christian books, attending church, listening to Christian music, watching Christian teachings on t.v.--if you have cable--and learning more about the love walk (one resource is Joyce Meyer's book "Reduce Me to Love") will all increase the effectiveness of your witness.

One thing I think important to keep in mind is that the intellectual reason a person gives for not believing in Jesus may mask an emotional reason that will not be overcome by logic (because, as "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell shows, there is ample evidence to intellectually believe in Jesus). So prayer is paramount!

Remember the Holy Spirit is the one who will bring them to faith; it doesn't all rest on you.

God bless!

No need for strategy. Just testify what Christ has done for you. Here's how Paul did it:

Decribe your life & attitudes before receiving Christ-Acts22:3-5
Describe how you realized God was speaking to you-Acts22:6-9
Describe how you became a Christian-Acts22:10-13
Describe what Jesus means to you now-Acts22:14-16

Or you can use a tract that leads to a confessional prayer such as "The Roman Road to Salvation." I prefer using the former with adults and the latter with children.

I don't see any reason to approach anyone differently than anyone else, the gospel is the same for all. Keep it simple.

Try respecting their beliefs. They have made their spiritual choices and are generally not interested in what you are selling. Evangelizing is fine as long as you restrict it to those who believe as an evangelical believes. The rest of us aren't interested.

"Christians only..?" You HAVE to know that putting that as the subject of your question attracts non-xtians like moths to a flame!

they don't seem to be Jews because Jew's do not trust the messiah has come yet. they don't trust Jesus so believing in Jesus and putting forward your Jewish obviously contradicts one yet another.... that's unhappy that there are those Evangelist Christians that call themselves "Jews". end this practice now, your disgracing both Judaism and Christianity.

There is this terrific website that gives us a biblical way to evangelize to anybody - its gets the heart of the issue (link below). I also know of a book that helps us understand different subcultures in terms of evangelism, but I'm not helpful because I can't remember the name of the book!

For Jews, at least for those who practice Judaism, I would suggest pointing at the fulfillment of the Messianic prophecies.
