I am facing same problem. Since I install IE 7 I got same problem as you explained. My pc is fast, no memory or other problem. I followed Microsoft's advise and reduces the resolution of screen but still problem remains same.

One thing is sure as some people answered here, there is nothing wrong with your pc just remember that.

My answer will not satisfy you but just wanted to say your is fine.

Hi there. I might suggest you use a browser that allows you to tab different web pages instead of opening multiple IE sessions. This eats up way more computer memory. Think of all sessions of IE as joined at the hip in most cases. If one session has a problem, Windows recovers by closing all instances of that executable. You may have something more in-depth going on with your computer than what you might think. Without going too much into detail, there are ways to trace the software and know what might have happened to cause the issue.

One thing I might suggest is that you reinstall IE. You'd do this by going into Control Panel from Start->Settings. Once there, double-click Add/Remove Programs. Depending on your version of Windows, you should have a button off to the left that says "Add/Remove Windows Components". Select Internet Explorer and choose Next.

If you'd rather try another web browser that's equally, albeit better in most people's minds, as good, you might try Firefox found here:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox

Tabbed browsing is a feature included within the browser. If you access web content that requires you to use Internet Explorer, you can install an add-on for Firefox called IETab found here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/
Simply add the website to IEtab and it will load the IE engine within Firefox. Very cool.

Hope this helps,

Your computer is too slow for opening too many windows or some problem in your windows.
So don't open too many windows
or
reinstall windows
