Yes I have. The outer shell is just the tip of the iceberg. I was with a gentleman and he wasn't on the cover of Ebony magazine, but we had a long lasting union until we decided to do other things. Not because we weren't physically attracted to each other, but because other things were on the horizon.

Sure, anything in a "pretty package" is even more appealing. It's people's looks that often catch our attention initially, and then their personality that keeps it.
Yes, I've dated someone who was not a lovely person to look at, but was a sweetie on the inside. He was 46 or 47 at the time (about 9 yrs older than me), barely my height of 5'6", and he'd had cystic acne as a child so his face, back, and chest were scarred with "pock" marks...he also had just a bit of a pot belly. He was also kind, considerate, a gentleman, great sense of humor, enjoyed traveling and trying new things, had things in common with me, and was an all around good guy.
It happens.

Yes, those have been my most memorable & cherished relationships. The one I am in now is that way. Lil by little I started seeing the outer beauty of him as well. Little things he does, etc. In the end I find I've found a great guy who's also attractive!

Yes many times, not alot of my exes have been attractive but i knew what they were like inside so the more i got to know them the more attractive i found them when others didnt
Looks dont always matter as far as im concerned

I believe strongly that our "shells" are just fancy coverings for everything that's inside - your heart, soul, mind.... and that when we get old, we all pretty much look the same - the "pretty" or "handsome" people get prune skin and loose their hair too!!!! SO.... unless all you want is "arm candy" or someone to "show off", it is better to not judge people by their outside appearance. YES, I have been in beautiful relationships with societies version of "unattractive" men.

Yes. I really think if the inside is beautiful, it shines outward. So I don't care as much about their appearance as their kindness, humor, driven nature, respect, and generosity of spirit. If a man knows how to treat a woman, it doesn't matter what is on the outside. He will grow on you.

Yes, I have also been able to facilitate so much change in what a person projects that a mother once said to her daughter "I never knew you could look pretty."
