Some religions can help you be a better person. (do good, be good).
Some religions are fanatical. (bad way)
Some religions are hardly ever heard of.
Some people in some religions go Fanatical (for good, or bad).
BUT:
all religions are False when it comes to getting SAVED.
Only Jesus can Recreate your Spirit, and that allows you to go to HEAVEN.
religions cannot RECREATE your spirit.
Ditto.......
My best hope is that Everybody in Every RELIGION--gets SAVED (Born-Again, spiritman Recreated).
By Jesus.
Risen from the Dead.

Religion is a man-made institution, and what men do, they often do wrong. I recently heard it expressed this way: Religion wants to change us from the outside in. God wants to change us from the inside out. The interests of God and the interests of religion- even many so- called Christian churches- are often not the same. So yes, religion can be dangerous.

It can be, yes. Organized religion is responsible for some of the worst atrocities in history. Although some figures in certain religions have certainly done good, over all religion has, unfortunately, divided our fellow man and created, sometimes promoted, hatred. Although that's almost always people that manipulate the religion not the religion itself, if there were no organized religion there wouldn't be anyone to maipulate it.

Extremely dangerous. Just look around at fundamentalism in USA. Look at Bush. It's dangerous to not only people in this country, but worldwide.

Some do seem to have that ability.
From the point of how Christians view (or should per scripture) is this:
Jam 1:26 If anyone thinks to be religious among you*, [and yet] does not bridle [fig., control] his tongue _but_ deceives his heart [fig., inner self, and throughout book], the religion of this one [is] useless.
Jam 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before [our] God and Father is this: to be caring for orphans and widows in their affliction [and] to be keeping oneself unspotted [fig., uncorrupted] by the world. (Analytical-Literal Translation)
Such is FAR from "dangerous".

I like religion. and find the stories interesting and fulfilling to hear about. but YES! it's very dangerous. some people don't take this crap in moderation and go off killing people. look at iraq, palestine, the sudan, and tons of other places.

It can be if it leads one to be fanatical in one's beliefs. Otherwise it's not religion itself but the followers of the religion regardless of what the religion is that a person follows. I don't know if I'm making any sense to you at all. But that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Extremely. Politicians pretend to be christians so they can get elected. once elected their true colors come out. For example, Bush claimed to be christian, but he is actually a psychotic murderer. And all the christians fell for it and elected him.
