They take thier eyes off of Jesus and forget thier purpose and mission; they fall away from Christ for a short time and are poluted by the world. Not all are selfish hypocrites though. Find a true followers of Christ and stick with them, so that they can help you remain in Him and spur you on to good deeds.

They would if they were "Walking in Holiness".
Thats what being Christ-Like (Christian) is all about.
Other than walking in Holiness, your just a Child of GOD.
Ditto.

p.s.
Dont' mess with somebody Walking in Holiness, you just might get HEALED, or SAVED, or some kind of Help from the Lord JESUS! (hehehe!)

Because we are not God made flesh, as He was.
We can only do our poor best to try to keep our feet on the path He set for us.
I am sorry we are not doing it well enough to suit you, David, but we can only try to do better.
Fortunately, it is not David who will judge us in the end, but rather our Master who will judge David.

Such comments are blanket in nature. Sad thing is that many should not be covered by that blanket and have no place being covered by such.

Generalizations generally have errors.

"I wish it (Christianity) were more productive of good works ... I mean real good works ... not holy day keeping, sermon-hearing ... or making long prayers, filled with flatteries and compliments despised by wise men, and much less capable of pleasing the Deity." -- Benjamin Franklin , _Works_ Vol.VII, p.75
