I don't know how long you've been sleeping 12hrs a day but for most folks, that is too much sleep...most people need about 6-8 hours of sleep a day....I don't know how old you are either, some teens need more sleep..as for being tired during the day, that could be because you overslept
Aside from a sleep disorder, you might be having other underlying problems: stressed/depressed, hormonal imbalances, to name a few. Have an honest chat with your family doctor about your concerns and you might just be surprised that the answer is not something earthshattering...
Take care

I dont know..I think sleeping disorders are usually when you cant go to sleep...Ive never heard of sleeping too much..You probably want to see a doc if youre tired during the day. And you might not be tired you might be bored (especially if this jsut started at the change of the seasonss)

No.. you don't have a sleeping disorder. Some people need 6 hrs sleep and some people need more. I myself need 6hours. but if I sleep more.. I wake up tired. So, you make have to find which amount of hours work for you.
Sleeping disorders are more like sleep apnea. Where you stop breathing in the middle of your slumber several times forcing your body to jump start.

I don't think you have a sleeping disorder but something is wrong as that is not normal. You could be ill, anemic or you are run down so to speak. You really need to go to the Doctor and tell he or she about your sleeping and have them check you for things that would cause you to be so tired. Good luck.

Well, sleeping too long makes you just as tired as not sleeping enough, so the fact that you're tired is because you sleep 12 hours a day.

If you do, it's probably not a mental health problem.
See your doctor and ask. Make cerrtain that you get a referral for a complete sleep study. That's the only way to find out what's going on.
Been there and done that.

yoooo sleep on ur belly and the quandary respiring sensation maybe a outcomes of sleep apnea. that is a infrequent situation wherein the dozing (subconscious brain) cant keep an eye on traditional respiring with out being unsleeping.

No, you don't have a sleep problem. You may have anemia which is low iron content in the blood. Seek medical help.
