It sounds like you are selling for your yearbook. You should wear casual clother. No genes and a collared shirt. If youwant to look even better add a tie.

I sell local advertising myself.
I wear khakis & a clean shirt, sometimes a sportcoat.

It is important to make a great first impression. Don't over do it. No suits, just clean dress pants and a shirt w/collar.
