My hair is sometimes staticky, and it really annoys me. I use a dandruff shampoo(because I have a little bit of dandruff), and a moisturizing conditioner. Should I use the same brand? It's been static a lot lately. The weather is sometimes sunny and sometimes cold but mostly kind pretty good. I put my hair behind my ear, and some stick out and go up against my face. It's so annoying! Can you help me? Please tell me what's causing it, and what i have to do to get rid of it. Thank you!

spray some hairspray on your hair brush before brushing, that generally helps.

I used to have that problem too until I bought an Ion blow dryer. Using it does something to the positive charges or some such thing. I just know that since I have been using it to dry my hair I have not had static once! I got my dryer at Wal-Mart for about $20.00

Dryer sheets work too. My favorite is to spray static guard (for your clothes - it comes in an aerosol can) onto my hairbrush and brush through. Goes away almost immediately. A quick fix is to use a teeny bit of hand lotion on the palms of your hands.

spraying hairspray in your hand after which going for walks it via your hair is helping. I have visible specific hairspray to aid, I cannot take into account the company, sorry. Also right conditioning. Winter makes hair dry. Moisturize.

i think you can rub dryer sheets on your hair to relieve the static-ness. it'll also smell raintime fresh or whatever dryer sheets you have.

You can use a little of what I used to call "Mommy Mousse". Just spit on your hands, rub them together and rub them over your head. Mothers have been doing it to their kids forever---it isn't as gross as it sounds. And it works.
