It is a relatively new convenience to have intellectual freedom to speak and share honestly online, without interruption, about longstanding conflicts and issues as sensitive as religion and politics.
So naturally all the past aggressions, resentments, and injuries may come out in the open, where these were repressed before. Some groups that have never interacted are able to for the first time. People are used to war, competition and rejection; so the concept of actually working cooperatively to resolve a mutual argument or conflict is foreign to those who never had such an opportunity, or never met an adversary willing to go the distance before.
There is much misinformation and misperception, both within religious traditions, and between different ones. A long history of conflict and miscommunication cannot be magically fixed overnight.
The process of studying, learning, and reconciling takes compassion, forgiveness, patience, and a really heartfelt desire to seek and to share the truth. Otherwise human emotions and fears get in the way, connected to events in the past. If we cannot forgive or agree on our history, how can we discuss or build the future together. This is very challenging, and I believe it is actually a good thing for emotions to find release through words, as there is chance for healing and reconciliation that way.
Thank you for your concern. Please lend compassion, wisdom and charity to those who struggle with emotion and difficulty in understanding others. There is a learning curve, and progress being made. It is not easy, but the effort is worth it, and all those who seek universal truth need and deserve all the support and encouragement it takes to get there without giving up.

I know what you mean. It is really starting to get me down. There's no good reason for it, really.... I'd say it's because people just haven't taken the time to understand the faiths of other people.... or because they honestly believe that God will damn those who do not have the same beliefs as them.
Ho hum. It is depressing me.... so I'm going to stick more to the health sections, and only answer religious questions that are honest and sincere or helpful in some way. I think a lot of the questions people make are aimed at just riling people up... I'm going to ignore those. Good luck, friend.

Because we rely more on our carnal/flesh man to react to life situations and people. If we hold tight to what Christ asks us to do -- obey his Word; we would have less discord among one another. "Discord" is Satan's number one weapon.
"Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths" Proverbs 3:5
"There is neither Greek or Jew, slave or free, male or female; for we are all one in Jesus Christ." Galatians 3:28
So just following the Word if we love each other the way Christ loves us. "Agape love"

Because we aren't in heaven yet, it's a spiritual battle between negative and positive energies.......... positive learning can be created from negativity.
