I don't know... people that have been crucified for their faith or tortured like those in the Sudan for being a Christian
they must be pretty tough. Honestly I never met an atheist when as you say ....cop criticism take it on the chin. They want a BIG argument not a converstaion but an argument. I have NEVER EVER cried in my soup. Not once, so there.

Silly child.
What, you've never heard of martyrs in the cause of Christ? My goodness, child, for the past 2000 years, God's Kids have had to be tuff.
What goes on in this forum might pass for "bashing", but it is a far cry from real "persecution". Try being raped or beaten or burnt for your faith...would your atheism stand up to the test? Or, when faced with some bigot who says "repent or die" will you take the easy way out, even if it means you have to pretend to "repent" and pay lip service to the bigot's "god"??
Oh, yes, I do realize that there have been "Christians" who have done this very thing...did you know that they mainly did it to other Christians?? There didn't seem to be a plethora of atheists about during the inquisition...perhaps they didn't want to find out what the rack really felt like.
Did you know that there are men and women across the globe that are facing that sort of real persecution right now? Yep, I have to tell you, there are Christians who, even as we speak, are facing horrible persecutions, even death, unless they recant. Oh, and interestingly, some of this (not all, by a long shot) is being done, by atheists. Imagine that!!
Do you think you'd like to face a firing squad or possibly just quietly pretend to believe in God, even if it means having to lie to save your skin?
Cry in my soup, LOL.
Silly child.....
Sounds to me like you are the one whining, here.
But it's OK, Grandma understands. Here, now....have a cookie and run and play.

I guess everyone has their own merits. As far as Christians go, I don't think any atheists are as tough as the Apostle Paul was.

Acts 14:19 But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead. 20 But when the disciples gathered about him, he rose up and entered the city, and on the next day he went on with Barnabas to Derbe.

2 Corinthians 11:23 Are they servants of Christ? I (Paul) am a better one--I am talking like a madman--with far greater labors, far more imprisonments, with countless beatings, and often near death. 24 Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the forty lashes less one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; 26 on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, danger from my own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; 27 in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure.

What isn't it in the bible if someone proves you are wrong cry like a baby and stomp your feet!

I'm sure it must be in there because after all A Christian wouldn't behave in a way that is not Christ like!
Then they wouldn't be one of those true Christians we hear about but can never seem to actually find!

I bet we find bigfoot before finding a true Christian!

Check back with me in about 15 more years when you've gotten some experience in life. Right now I doubt you could find your way out of a paper bag, Peanut.

I don't cry in my soup. I toss it right back in your faces, laced with carbolic acid. I have nothing but contempt for God-knockers and paganheads. I don't consider you human; you're just trash littering the landscape. I've stated numerous times that I support an honest effort to restore our civilization. We did not become great without boldness. The sword of seigfried was no match for the cross and sword of Constantine and his successors. Those pagans ran like swine and we hunted them down in the woods; the leaders perished and the rest converted or pretended to,if they had any intelligence. I personally favor considerable ruthlessness in addressing this issue. Let the Friendly Fundies pretend they are going to convert you; I have no desire to convert anyone and nobody keeps a clean kitchen with something emitting poisonous fumes laying around wide open. It's clean-up time for you and your kind; it's clean-up time for me. We just need to redevelop the means. And we will.
