Whatever.

Evolution is not something I "believe" in either.

I accept that with the overwhelming evidence collected by 100's of scientists over the last 150 years, that evolution by natural selection of beneficial traits is simply the best explanation for the variety of lifeforms past and present.

It is one of the most elegant and widely supported scientific ideas ever.

Your lack of belief in evolution doesn't make it any less. impressive an idea. Also, it is a common misconception among Christians that if you believe in God, you can't accept evolution. It has nothing to do with God, and there are groups of Christians who believe that evolution is part of God's plan

Thanks for the apology. I missed your other posts. Evolution is not a belief system. And, I'm not sure why people think that just because evolution happened that it eliminates the possibility of a creator.

I'm an agnostic by the way. I don't belong to any religion although Buddhism appeals to me. And, I'm happy to be friends with any one of any faith. I respect your views but I don't agree with you. And, I do not claim to know exactly how the universe got here since no one knows what was before the big bang.

I think that people are people no matter what religion. race, sex, etc. Blaming tragedies, such as 9/11, on certain groups of people is just plain wrong. I also think the Pledge of Allegiance should be changed. We are NOT 'one nation under God', we are just a nation. There shouldn't be any religious aspect in that, because people get angry. Why can't we all just get along?

I'm honestly not trying to be rude, but is there an actual question here? Are you asking for forgiveness from atheists, Christians, or both? I'm all confused now.. But I forgive you either way :)

I'm not an atheist, but I can attest to the rudeness of some Christians.

thank you for the effort. it's not about who's "right," it's about respecting each other.
