To accept we must renounce. We must renounce "self" and at the same time accept change. We can do either but we must do both, this is the beginning of the answer to all things. For after this we can develop our mind. With "self" and illusions of permanence gone from our awareness we still remain bound by Fetters and Defilements and we cannot grow with these chains binding our awareness and limiting us to less than we are capable, a fully enlightened Being, compassionate and free from the binds of Karma and the Cycle of Life. Is this not the purpose of Life..and the answer to all things..?

I understand what you are saying and it is good to accept. But in order for one to accept there had to be unacceptance first. I wonder what it would be like, to be in that place, before unacceptance.

I'd say 'acceptance' where acceptance leads to good qualities increasing, and bad declining.

But not where 'evil triumphs'.

May be wrong.

Sometimes a good person has to take a stand, n'est-ce pas?
