Honestly, wouldn't it be easier for Satan to just convince everybody that he was the good guy, and that God was the bad guy? If God is so powerful why doesn't he just snap his fingers and make us all good little boys and girls? Why would he need such a complicated recruiting device if he were really the "almighty"?

Now this idea would scare the hell out of a Christian.
I tell Christian all the time if most will be mislead how can that be possible? The stage for this deception was set up over 2000 years ago. This deception can only be understood when you walk away from your belief is why most will not understand this. Christianity it self is a distortion is why many will be mislead. This will happen in many ways. Even today politicians are using the religious to further the political career.
I have talked with Christians that are down right arrogant about how their numbers can influence the political climate. I ask them why would you want your religion to be used this way? This is where the will God enters into the discussion. I then remind them when was the last time you spoke with God directly in a two way communication to make sure you understood his mind? I remind them God has not voice of his own so you might want to be careful who you trust.

Oh come on! Anyone who says the bible is still in its original form is in denial. The route could not be more inderect! It wasn't even put together until three hundred years after Jesus died! The whole thing is contentious! I keep hoping some part of it is real...the part of it that talks about love and compassion. That is in there isn't it? Sometimes I wonder the way some people talk around here.
Sigh.
Time for humanity to grow up.
I think this trickster thing is plausable.
Peace...

"The word of God" means the words are exactly as revealed (original language of the Messenger).
If I take a speech by the President of the United States, translate it into French and then publish it as the exact "President's Speech" I would be called a liar. The President never spoke in French and I could never say it was "his" speech. In fact it could only be called the closest translation of his speech but it can never be called "his words"; And even if I published his speech in English (as was the original) changed a few words and then put parenthesis around the entire speech and said this was his exact speech I would be imprisoned. If I changed even one single word it would no longer be the exact words of the President.
If Revelation is ever translated into a different language then it is no longer the "Word of God" , it would be the closest translation perhaps but NEVER the absolute WORD OF GOD.
If a single word in an entire book is changed the entire book is no longer the absolute "Word of God" .

Because the Bible speaks of things like love and truth and many other things that satan has no understanding. Satan is a deceiver and a liar--it would be difficult for him to state his love and desire that his followers live with him in heaven, particularly since he's so fond of swimming in the Lake of Fire. Also, I would suggest you read the Bible before you spit lies like lava from a volcano. But a piece of good news for you is that God would forgive you if you truly wanted His love and forgiveness.

Loki actually wrote the Bible. He'd just come off a binge with some Valkyries and felt mellow and mischievous..

Unfortunately, I have no idea who could have done that. Satan swears up and down he had nothing to do with it. Personally, I think he just put himself in the book to just be in there. Wants that benz in hollywood ya know.

Perhaps, in God's perception of time, he IS snapping his fingers- and the sound is created as he crushes between those mighty fingers his myriad screaming victims.

If he did, the bible would want you to worship God and not Satan.
