Hi All,

I was just looking for some advice on Bath and Body Products. I want to buy some Bath and Body works products for my bridal party. I am from Canada but I have close access to a bath and body works store. I have never shopped there before so I am not sure what is good and what is bad. If anyone can provide me with some of their favourite things from there perhaps it can help to give me a better idea of what to get. I have checked out there website and it looks like they have a lot of interesting things, but a better idea of actual real peoples tastes would be greatly appreciated.

I would ask--or secretly ask mothers who can look in their room and tell you. A lot of people love vanilla but I know I absolutely HATE that smell. It is sooo strong. I also hate the brown sugar one. I am sensitive to smells.

B/c the scents are really strong and if you dislike it, they are really pissy about allowing you to take stuff back there unless it is in one of their pre-wrapped packages. And it would be horrible for you to give them a thankyou gift and them have to give it away to a cousin or something at Christmas.

Many people really like Country Apple. That is a big one. Cucumber Melon or Mango Madness are great ones as well--subtle in the scent. They have several other subtle scents. I like the Pink Grapefruit lotion a lot but the body splash is horrible. White tea and ginger is nice too.

Personally I'd go for one of the new scents like Honeysuckle. They aren't likely to have it. That seems subtle and would be liked by a lot of people, though I still think the best idea is to find out from someone (or ask them themselves) what scents they like.

Bath and Body Works is a nice store and there products are very good. They have gift baskets which is a nice idea for your bridal party. They have different scents which they all are pretty. Some of the scents they have are warm vanilla sugar, sun riped rasberry, moonlight something (I don't remember the whole name), and many others. You know your bridal party the best so you should go to the store and see the products you will definetly find a gift basket for each girl in your bridal party. I hope that I helped you out.

Body splashes and lotions are great gifts, just remember who likes what scent. You can get them in travel size, so they can be put in a gift basket of sorts. Some of the scents are really strong, so if you give the gifts to your bridal party before the wedding, make sure to tell them to go light on the scenting, it could overwhelm some people at the wedding

Great choice. I really love there lotions and body sprays. I especially like the travel sized items because I can carry them in my purse and they really come in handy. I think you really cant go wrong with bath and body works gifts. Here are some of my favorite scents:

Warm Vanilla Sugar
Sparkling Peach
Cherry Blossom
Cucumber Melon
Brown Sugar and Fig
White Tea and Ginger

I've never been disappointed with anything I purchased from that store. They also sell a line of American Girl products which are great for young girls, so if you have Jr Bridesmaids or older flower girls those are great products for them. The perfumes and lotions are very light scented, they arent as heavy as the other products and the cosmetics are well suited to young girls.

Good luck!

Bath and Body works scents can be overwhelming to some people. They cause me to have a strong and almost immediate headache so if you are going to use something from them keep that in mind. The flowers, particularly plumeria, seem to be the safest scent for me to tolerate. All of the fruits make my head pound. However, if you want you can try a store called Bath Junkie. Same concept but you can mix up the fragrances you like and have it died the color you want. I absolutely love them and never have the same kind of reaction I do to Bath and Body Works. Even if they aren't nearby they will happily mix and ship to you.

Hello,
Clean Cotton is my favorite scent from the store. It is a very clean scent that I think anyone would really like. You would have no problem making baskets at B and B Works. If you are willing to spluge, try the Lush Store. WWW.Lush.COM-Love their Olive shower gel and soap-good luck!

I love Vanilla Sugar, especially the body cream. And the aromotherapy products are good.

Since everyone's tastes are different, why don't you do gift certificates along with one small item? That way everyone can choose what they like.

But I do love Vanilla Sugar!
