NK, can you say hypocrite, cause that is exactly what you are. You have asked questions and answered questions by shoving it down others throats.
You are telling everybody that GOD does exist and that you have proof. That IS shoving it down their throats.
So dear you are doing what they are claiming. Get your head out of your as_s and go to church and go for your confessions, you over due.

Religion is a personal choice, and to know anything about religion you have to have a personal relationship with whatever you believe in, that is okay, you live that in your life, you do what you believe is right and you show it. I don't know how I got in this forum and I think I do want out of it. I have had many types of spiritual experiences and some times I mention those, but when I do I talk about my experience and try to do it in a way that does not offend those that do not have those experiences. I had to learn this growing up in a home where I had a dad that didn't go to church and believed that any thing was possible and that it could have been possible that a man in the sky was stirring us around like a big bowl of beans, but he never once asked my mom not to go to church or to take us to church and she did many different kinds. I was grateful for that. It taught me that there is differences in peoples personal views about this kind of stuff, if you believe that is okay live it, love God that is okay but do not judge others and tell them that they are sinners that are going to hell if they don't believe what you believe because you could be more wrong then them in so many ways. I have seen more hypocrisy in my life then I care to describe here. It is a personal decission and those that want to find God have plenty of opportunity to do so and they will if they want to. Just don't push God and all your theories and put others down for not accepting them. There is no science behind God, but if you personally want to believe that is your choice and what you do with that is also your choice as well. So that is it, you are being hypocritical and not loving now aren't you? So does that make you a bigger sinner or me?

I've been told five times today that if I don't change and believe in god I'm going to hell. I had to swear on the holy bible that I'd tell the truth when I went to court to contest a speeding ticket. When I was young, I was forced to include the words "under god" as I recited the pledge of allegiance. Pat Robertson keeps telling people like me that god is against us unless we repent and accept his god. Activist groups are trying to make bible study a requirement in school, but at the same time protesting the establishment of an Arabic learning center in New York. No history of the gods before christ or judaeism are ever mentioned on television without a public outcry. George W. Bush was elected President of the United States and he tried to send me to war because god told him to invade Iraq.
If you personally don't try to shove religion down the throat of others, plenty of others do.
Have a great day! And remember, Mithras loves you!

no one does is wrong, there are a few that do, and its like anything else, the ones who make the most noise get the attention. they pick me out. i can be standing in a checkout line and someone will come to me and ask if i know jesus. 20 people in the line, and they will come to me. i was sitting in a bar trying to have a few relaxing beers, and a girl came in selling roses and picked me to give the religious speech. i must really look non-threatening because it happens all the time. shut up is cool, because im sick of it happening to me. its not my fault that some are so insecure about their beliefs that they have to make sure everyone else believes the way they do. believing in god is not the issue.

Oh and the fact that some christians use the threat that if people who are from other religions or non-believers do not believe in their deity is going to hell isn't a bit of arm twisting?
Some christians state what they believe and leave it at that and that is perfectly acceptable. Some christians proselytize and don't when asked to stop and that is not acceptable. That is shoving it down the throat of someone who does not desire to have it.
I believe you come from a religion that supposedly teaches tolerance yet I see very little from you.

okay...feel better now? seriously, i think they have a throat fixation...and, while there are a few folks on this site who are a tad over the line into 'zealot territory', i've seen things posted against Christians that would get the person asking the question's hind parts handed to them if they said it to the 'average joe' face to face...i count the insults and drooling put-downs as an honor...remembering what Christ went thru for us
what i find amazing, though, is the number of 'intelligent' people who go into a site called 'religion and spirituality' and have the gall to tell people who believe in God to shut up, 'keep it to yourself'...it makes me wonder if this supposed superior intellect and logic of the atheist is just a lot of hot air...

Maybe you don't-but a lot of christians do. Also the christian who know the person believes in god, even though they are not christian-is still evil. That makes no sense at all-neither does christianity.
I think some people are just sick of asking questions to christians and just getting bible verses spouted off. If we believed in the bible, that would help. But some people think the bible limits god.

Sorry, hon.
Some of us do.
When I first became a Christian, I tried to shove it down everyone's throat. I didn't look at it like that - I just wanted to share the joy I felt. But, as time went on I realized I turned more people off to Christianity than I turned on to it.
Eventually I had to learn that people respond better to seeing and hearing Jesus in others, than constantly hearing about Him.
God bless.

I think some religious people, the ones that appear to be what they are not, those that look like, act like, but are not really like Christians, that give real Christian's a bad reputation.
A true Christian will not force the bread of life down your throat,we will invite you to the feast.
We will let you spiritually starve if you chose.
